Messi in 10-11 was unplayable at times. Definitely one of his best dribbling seasons ever and one of the best versions of Messi. That final performance against United was probably the best ever final performance I've seen. He tore them apart on home turf (Wembley/England) and his dribbling was magical!
Yeah, I'd say 2010-2011 was his peak, all the way to 2012 when he scored 92 goals in a calendar year. He's been unbelievable the last two seasons as well, and he's 30...

It's interesting because if you look at stats alone, then Messi and Ronaldo were equal, as they both scored 53 goals that season. But you simply MUST look beyond stats to understand Messi's genius. He scored twice to knock out Real in the semis of the Champions League and then destroyed United in the final. He scored when it mattered most and led us to the double. Ronaldo did scored in the Copa final but Messi had the better season. Incredible, this little man is.

14/15-the most complete we’ve seen his game. From scoring, assisting, dribbling. He should how much he matured as a player
18/19-he was a monster last season, especially in the champions league. His form in the CL and the league was INSANE. It wasn’t his fault Barca lost 4-0 to Liverpool. I swear from the form he was in he would’ve scored in the CL final and bought the big one home

In my opinion Messi peaked in this season. He and Ronaldo Phenomenon are kinda similar when it comes about how early they picked (early 20s). Both were very agile and explosive...
Messi never had a injury that could kill is career that Ronaldo have, but he got a lot of "little" injuries in mid and late 2013. I think those injuries took away a good portion of his acceleration and explosiveness. Messi after 2013 became much less dangerous.

Messi durring 2009-2012 was a dribbling machine. He was incredible and amazing to watch. Now Messi is a much more complete and overall better player. I prefer the Messi nowdays but either way he is great. The best player ever.

This was Messi's best season. He controlled everything and was magica. 2014/15 was Barca's best season. In that season they were less Messi-dependent and was stronger as a team.

That goal from champions league first leg against Madrid I didn’t even celebrate it because I was just in awe when that happened live. I couldn’t find any other player that would move that fast. Ben arfa was the only close player to do dribblings like that.

creo que junto con la temporada 2014-2015 esa fue la mejor temporada de Leo, quizás en ese entonces utilizaba más su explosividad en el juego, casi que abusaba de eso, la pasada temporada ya con unos años más encima, no teniendo a veces la rapidez de antes, supo sacar otras cartas que se escondía bajo la manga, para mi, un jugador que reinventó su futbol a partir de la base de ser el mejor del mundo, y que llegó a ser el mejor de la historia, grande Messi

I think 14-15 might have been Leo's best season regarding his overall play, and I do think that 2015 Messi is the best Messi, but his dribbling in the 10-11 season was on another echelon. His dribbling is close to that level now, but the ball was basically chained to his foot in that season. He literally destroyed Arsenal, Real, and Manchester United in the Champions League, and no one could stop him. I think it had to do with the fact that he still had that incredible pace (he was 23) and he entered his prime in terms of dribbling, passing, etc.
+Guhsteh Messi's dribbling is still same, it's just now he's matured enough to know that passing is a thing than back when he invented dribbling.

There's actually a ton missing too, but he got a lot of the best ones. Um, if you watch Messi highlight videos for every game that season you will see so many dribbles that people miss out on. Leo could easily have a 20 minute video showing his dribbling in the 10-11 season.
