We love to hear that, thank you so much for the kind words 😊
The „Toronto Square“ is called Nathan Philips Square, and it is the City Hall building.
Oh good to know thanks! 😊
Thank you for filming this!!! I am about to travel to Toronto, this is reaaally helpful!
We are so happy it helped! Enjoy your trip 😊
A few things I think worth mentioning.
1) If your going to hit up St. Lawrence Market and your not from Canada, you might want to try a peameal bacon (AKA Canadian bacon) sandwich. Even if you don't like it, it's kind like poutine in the sense it's synonymous with being Canadian.
2) We also have a a mini (when I say mini, I mean super mini...lol) version of Times Square called Yonge and Dundas Square. There's often street performers, preachers, buskers and all the flashy digital billboards and stuff. It's right outside a huge shopping mall called Eaton Centre and it's Yonge Street which would be our version of Broadway. Not going to blow your mind away or anything but fun swing by to kill a few hours.
Thank you for the tips! We will definitely have to try the Canadian bacon there. I believe we tried it in Niagara Falls Canada side and loved it but I’m not exactly sure if it was the same as what you’re mentioning. Oh I think I we passed through there after watching a broadway show at Mirvish Theater, do you know if it’s kinda near there? If so it was a really cool area but we went later in the evening so we will have to go back during the day time next trip to see the street preformers 🤩
Thankyou for visiting.
We loved it there 😍
fun fact about the distillery district....that was where Tommy Boy was shot. Its where Callahan Auto Parts was.
Wow, that’s crazy, we had no idea. Thanks for the fun fact!!
The ROM is massive (one of the biggest museums in North America) and has won many awards… I am shocked by how you downplayed the museum and suggested only one hour! 😅
It was incredible! Very big and you could definitely spend more time there, however, we were trying to get a lot fit in in a day so we suggested a little less time
This was a really great video! Planning trip to Toronto August 2023, so this was really helpful! Thank you!
Thanks for the comment! We love to hear that and are happy it helped planning your trip - enjoy!! 😊
Girl, How is seeing animals at the aquarium cheesy. Natures beautiful. And CN Tower ain’t no “typical” view.
We do love aquariums however we live in Florida’s we have lots of nice aquariums and local fish / wildlife. So for us we wanted something different! And yes the CN towers view is very nice!
As a Torontonian, I feel like you guys really limited your food options by staying in the downtown core. It also really increased the prices. There are some great restaurants in Chinatown and Kensington Market (close to each other). There are also the various different neighbourhoods throughout Toronto like Greek Town, Corso Italia (Little Italy), as well as Portuguese, Indian and other neighbourhoods that have amazing food selections.
For this trip we were trying to stay somewhat near the hotel. We really wanted to go to Kensington but ran out of time, so I’m glad you recommend it. We will definitely go next time. Also, that’s really awesome. There’s like a Greek town and a little Italy. We will have to try all those options next trip!! 😊
$900 for 3 days accommodations. Ok so this is for rich boujie travellers. Maybe make that obvious in your video title next time lol.
That was one of the least expensive hotels we could find, Toronto hotels are very very pricy
Thanks for the information about really nothing good in Canada, I have never wanted to go to Canada because I always had the feeling that there is really nothing special about it but now I have to go for a family reunion, the most important thing for me is food and I have a bad feeling I won't find anything good, oh dear lord!
We enjoyed Toronto! Hopefully you have a better time than expected, some of our food was good. Hoping for the best for your trip!
You won't have a problem finding good food in Toronto...
LOL! What an uninformed and ignorant comment. Toronto is one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world with a near endless number of great food options.
Should title this ‘What not to do in Toronto voiced by someone with a grating voice that complains too much.’ Except the King Eddie. I guess if you have people comping everything you have to gripe about something. And complete couple, the guy doesn’t get a single word in. Crapola.
I’m sorry you didn’t like the video. What exactly did you find that we complained so much about? We loved Toronto! and we didn’t get anything comped
@@TheCompleteCouple I understand. Maybe I am jealous. Maybe I think you only showed the obvious parts of the city. Nothing personal.
ps you go to St. Lawrence and don’t have a peameal bacon sandwich? That was odd.
You seem like a blast. Makes sense no one wants travel with you mcbean
