You got this thing for the west coast of Florida. It's only a matter of time before a devastating large hurricane destroys the west coast , flooding out areas. I couldn't invest there unless my networth was 20 million plus.
The same thing goes on here on the Cape. People spend a couple of million, tear it down and build a 5 million dollar McMansion. You said the hacks would be heading for the hills ? I didn't know there were any hills in Florida LOL

Down here in So. Florida anywhere on the water it's all knockdowns from the 60's and 70's with two story McMansions going up. The crazy thing is even in the bad areas those crack houses are $3-$400,000. Not sure anyone is actually buying them but that's what they go for. I'm down south in Broward. I'm in the nicest city here Parkland sorry Weston. :). If I were thinking about moving to the water I would look into Jupiter, Juno, Port St. Lucie, Vero Beach, Singer Island. The only bad thing about Singer Island is you have to go through da hood of Riviera Beach but once over the bridge it's paradise. Rush's estate wasn't too far away. RIP Rush. We had place on the water too in Lighthouse Point. Watched the boats all day on the intercoastal. All knockdows there. Parkland is soooo much better though. I'm on a huge lake great neighbors life is good.
