Man's football IQ is elite. You can tell he understands the game at a level most QBs can't grasp.
The physical tools are all there, he has a rocket arm and throws a beautiful deep ball, but the thing that keeps impressing me is how easily he appears to go through his reads and progressions, especially for a rookie. It looks like he sees the field very well. I expect huge things from him in the future. Couldn't be more excited for next year. Please get this man a defense so his career is not wasted like Matt Ryan's was.
Absolutely!!!! The way he reads the defense so quickly is AMAZING!! by far the best QB in his draft class
There’s so much to be impressed with about MPJ but his poise and ability to get us down the field in late game situations as a ROOKIE??? We got lucky with this kid 🙌🏾

Man no way we didn’t make the playoffs and Penix was there the whole time. We have everything ahead of us, just need the top of the organization to make the RIGHT MOVES.

Trade cousins for a 6th the other team has to pay $10 mil… trade Pitts and Tyler to the same team like the Bengals for example or if you can get more separate will prob be a 2nd, 4th and 7th for both. Restructure Bates and Chris and ask Grady to take a pay cut… he will. Then cut Onyemata and Mcgary. This will create an extra 40-50 mil. Sign Payton Turner and Ozeez both edges and have AK and Trice in rotation at edge or AK in some kind of role. Sign a veteran #3 corner like Ahkello Witherspoon who like Alford is cheap but can play corner and I believe be put at safety if players miss time, resign Alford and sign Raiders Moehrig who’s a Safety and resign Storm on a 1 year and Dalman on a 5 year rear heavy contract with heavy guarantees to secure the Oline. Sign LB Ernest Jones since he knows Heem. Go into the draft and pray Will Johnson falls to us at 15 then with ur 2 second round picks get OT to be groomed by Storm and Mathews. With ur other 2nd draft Harold Fannin Jr. 4,6 and 7 use in depth like WR and defense depth… with that 5th draft Tyler’s replacement like Thaj Brooks or Michigan’s Kalel Mullings.
I think once Penix and Pitts get that 1 on 1 pitts will be better. He was open a lot last year and didn’t get the ball.

The difference between Penix and every QB that came after Matty Ice's tenure has been a night and day difference. Falcons Fans have a lot to be excited about for this upcoming season. If defense is addressed (James Pearce Jr, Abdul Carter or even Jack Sawyer) with some more pieces in FA then the Falcons will be a problem in the NFC.

I hope he’s the long term answer in Atlanta. He looked as good as advertised in the final three games, I think he can get the falcons back to the playoffs and maybe a Super Bowl if he stays healthy.
