    3M Colored electrical tape, comes in a dozen colors, use one or more colors. Draw up your system's electrical schematic like in automotive manual, all components and colored tape coded. Tie-wrap off groups to components, use color tape on component and on its own wire bundle. Black is always ground unless using white. Just saying, but I STILL WANT THE DYMO LABEL MAKER TOO lol.

    I appreciate what you do but you went thru it too quickly for me. Also I've been looking for instructions in regular labels, size of type or font and shortening the tails front and back to reduce waste.But a thumbs up in any case.

    Just ordered one was looking at the brother but at almost three times the price of this one I can't justify it.

    I looked all over and could not find Aiomark. Are they still in business? Anyway, thank you very much for your video. Could you post some links for the different products you like? I will be ordering one of these soon to label a WHOLE lot of wires and cables.
    Thanks again.

    • @RVProject

      Aiomark was a generic brand. There are a lot of similar 3rd party tapes on Amazon. Another brand I have been using is Aonomi which seems to be good enough. Just make sure they are compatible with your model of label printer.
      For links, the best bet is to visit my website at www.rv-project.com where I have a webpage for just about every project and gear review I have done.
      On those webpages, I post links to many of the items I use. I generally don't post links here as the gov't considers any posted link to be an endorsement, and requires a disclaimer that the links are advertisement, opinion of the author, yada, yada, and that is easier done on the website.

      @@RVProject I did not realize that you work for the government, but I understand, and thank you again for the information. It will come in handy later.

      @@johndavid4825 No I don't work for the govt. But Amazon sent out a notification that they require the disclaimer on their links to comply with govt regs, which is why I know about it.

    A little off topic for this video, But can you do a long term review of your disk breaks?

    • @RVProject
      @RVProject  6 років тому

      I don't have disk brakes. I upgraded from 10" drum to 12" drum brakes last year. Sorry for the confusion.

    Do you have any links for Heat shrink 3/4 cartridges? Thank you for your support

    • @RVProject
      @RVProject  4 роки тому

      The link I have is for a 3rd party heat shrink, but I have had good luck with it. You can buy anywhere from 1/4" to 1" heat shrink from this link - but the 1" size may not be compatible with all Dymo labellers, so make sure your labeller will work.

    Where did you get the case?

    Too expensive

    • @SouthernSpeedVideos
      @SouthernSpeedVideos 5 років тому +4

      If $70 is too expensive you have bigger problems than a label maker.

    • @CarrotDugTooDeep
      @CarrotDugTooDeep 4 роки тому

      They are giving these label makers away right now if you buy 10 label rolls. I bought clearance rolls at $6 each, so for $60 (plus shipping), you get the label maker and also get 10 rolls of labels.
