Since you all seem to like the idea and since i love making these vids I'm currently working on the next video's.
I love to hear from you guys what you're suggestions may be. What straps would you like to see? Which brands are killer and not in my collection yet? I'll be moving away from aliexpress and into the 20 to 60 bucks mid-tier straps since I feel this would suit my mid-tier watch collection better. I like straps that fit different watches, so 'watchmonsters' in a way.

@@adiwirasaputra4887 What is your wrist circumference? This seiko has a super wearable 44mm lug to lug distance, so any wrist circumference >6'' will pull it off with no problems, it might still look fine on wrists

I have the brushed bezel one that comes on a gray nato. Absolute strap monster!
I would have gotten that one if it had the bracelet as an option. That polished bezel does attract some scratches 😕

This video just opened my eyes to the wide world of the love child of nato and leather straps, the Leather Nato Straps! Great video!
😏 Lot of possibilities! So many good looks in one unsuspecting simple, yet classic dial. That French MiIlitary look was special, yet the fraying fabric strap. Well I'd not want to take it off, for comfort and looks. Takes a very patient nature (not to mention quick-release gizmos for this video to work). Versatile!

Just bought this watch and am very happy with it. Personally I think it goes great with the Bond NATO, and will try to replicate that!
Good video as saves me a small fortune buying straps to try out on my SRPE55K1. I like the rugged canvas strap although I wear mine mostly on the stock bracelet.

Really enjoyed this and have three leather straps ordered to go with my NATOs. As per your recommendation, all have the easy quick install spring bars.

4 watches with 10 straps is 40 different combinations. Assuming they’re all the same lug width. Adding only 1 strap gives 4 more combinations. I think straps are the best way to add variety to your collection.

I just bought the SRPE61 and automatically came to check if you had the video trying several straps on it. ;) I'd like if you had some straps a bit more colourful. Light and dark colours, like blue, orange, red, even yellow. By the way I love the dark gray NATO strap, I'll try to get one. Congratulations on the channel!

Very cool strap show and cool watch choices on your two vids. I was really surprised by how well this dresskx works on a rubber waffle strap. I don't have any first hand experience with these 'new' Seiko 5s but in a vacuum my first idea would be to try to pair it with a jubilee bracelet. As a general suggestion, even though it can be quite annoying to set up, maybe add some links for the straps in the description for quick reference. And as a second suggestion, despite the obvious TikTok talent, don't do it :P. And my vote is on the 62mas.
Great idea! I put some of the straps in the description. The others will follow. For your second suggestion: it was a spur in the moment thing haha. I'm new to this and gave it a shot. Some things will be back in the next vid and others, rest assured, will not ;)

It looks great no matter what strap you put on it. I wear mine on a Nato most of the time but put it on brown leather to dress it up.

I have the gray one it tends to wash out on a bracelet I think I want the black one now
I really love this content concept so fresh and new. And some advice when you use the strap i think you should wear all of them , because we want to see how it's look's on hands.

I think your problem with some of those straps is the dial colour. Altuough I did like the bond nato I think you wouldn’t have had those problems worh a black or a blue dial
I've been considering to buy either the Seiko SRPG field watch or this SRPE dress kx. This strap show of yours has probably pushed the scale towards the dress kx. I would love to able to try different straps to suit different situations. Thanks.
I own both: adore the SRPE61, disappointed with the SRPG27. To me the DressKX is a totally authentic, iconic, flawlessly executed and elegant design with a crystal-clear concept: minimalist designer interpretation of the sports watch theme. Not only the best Seiko 5 but one of the most beautiful Seikos ever and just as iconic and purposeful as a Submariner. The SPRG feels more a half-hearted compromise between an elegant post-war field watch and a contemporary, clunky sports watch. I am particularly struggling with its inadequate 40 mm size, needless weight and bulk (175 mm wrist). Night readability is comparably poor and there is always some haze warping over its dial from its single-domed crystal's unusually strong reflections. It certainly has that distinct retro Hamilton charm but I'd only get it if you want that exact style and can pull off its non-vintage size. Just saying.
I've been considering picking up one of those as well. But something is holding me back. I already have the Hammy of course and that particular Seiko seems a little large for it's purpose or designed purpose. Time will tell :)

@@strapchoice3001 I have a very similar Barton nato with the black and grey strips that I run on my SRPD, and I have a 20mm one that I run on my Timex Marlin Auto. I’m a sucker for the black and grey stripped natos. Looks right at home on your SRPE.

I am going to be trying some red and blue straps on mine. Getting the black red and blue versions of the curved end straps that you have. I want to get at least one leather strap, but I don't know if I should het a dark color like yours, lighter, or more redish brown color? I also have a thinner not see through caseback coming. I want to see if the already great fit of this watch is even better when its a mm thinner.

@@strapchoice3001 I did get the black, and red and blue curved end straps like yours. They all look great with gray dial. I know it may not be your style, but the red one is amazing on the grey dial. I have not bought any leather straps yet. Got some single pass natos and they look good. I need to get more rustic military looking straps like yours. The Barton Cordura silicone hybrid bands are awesome.

I’ve taken off the Seiko bracelet as personally I’m not keen on steel bracelets and it currently has padded brown leather which looks okay but a little formal, so that worn canvas strap looks perfect for the look I’m going for. Thanks again from a new subscriber.

Hi Eduardo, the first is called a 'French military nato', then the 'modern Bond nato'. Third is a original Hamilton green nato. Hope this helps 🙂
