Well said!
Agree!!!
This is a fascinating video. And I can’t get over how perfect the weld is. It’s so cool that you gave this pan a second life and having your craftsmanship built into it makes it even better. Everyone who uses this pan will possibly see this repair and then realize somebody fixed this pan beautifully. The pride you take in your repair is so admirable.
You Sir, have some serious welding skills.
While I’ll never be able to do this, it was a true pleasure to watch your video. Thank You!
I am a welder for 25 years looks like a great job.
Good job. I think the different color gives it character.
Nicely done! Love the new style handle on the older pan 👏
Excellent job! Wow. Showing off some serious skills for sure!
Interesting. I have an antique cast iron cookstove with an issue .. Checking into this.
You are an artist! Great job!
Appreciate the video. You make this process look really easy. A Mudbrooker original. I love it. Thanks for all the insight. Information is always welcomed.👍😉
It's not terribly hard if you're a fair to middling welder, but it takes some practice and experimentation with technique.
Do like the fire brick table. 🔥
Great content 👌
Handy to have for things like this.
Tkx Mud. Very interesting. I have a couple offshore friends that use to weld waaaay back in da day.
Yer welcome
Thanks, great info.
awesome video. thanks for making it
Great video thanks for sharing.
I really like this video, and appreciate the time and effort you put into it...The repair looks great to me....wm
Nice job!
I think you did a nice welding job on it. I don't have a Mig but I do have a stick welder and I'm not very good, but my son's are. I currently don't have any pans that need welding, but it's nice to know what and how to do it. Thanks for the demo Mud! I hope you had a nice Labor Day and good night!
No Comment's - Great 👍Job .....

Sure would be toooo Awesome If you could brand your initials or name on it. 1 of a kind & a sit around for somebody to tell the history of getting it after we're alll gone.
I was thinking the same thing. Tomorrow I'm getting a triple flip pancake griddle for 40.00 bucks. Mud said Great price.
@@raymond5194 it is Raymond. That's gonna be a fun piece for Winter mornings.
@@cynthiawesley2318 we don't have winter mornings down here 🤣😂🤣. I'll lower the AC to 60.
@raymond5194 Lol kinda like here. Well it's a great find.
Love watching this Mud.
Interesting video. What kind of welding hood are you using?
Awesome mud. So does that take seasoning well.
Especially after roughing it up a bit with the sandblasting. Pretty sure it would have taken even with just the sanding though.
You know I hope this ability and skill is only ever used for the powers of good. I have this feeling I’m going to be looking closer at every pan I look at for hidden welds. Thanks for the additional paranoia Mud.
*Question:* Is there a risk of a _hot_ cast iron griddle or pan cracking, breaking when cold water is poured on or into it? Like, when I just finish frying something, I like to rinse water over it immediately so that only a very thin film of grease is left. They've never cracked or broken before but I'm told it might happen. Is that true?
There's some risk, the colder the water and the hotter the pan the more risk there is. That said, room temperature water and a pan that isn't blazingly hot poses little risk unless there's already a hairline crack.
@@TheMudbrooker That's what I thought _But!_ I'll promise my sis I'll buy a new one immediately if I break it!
btw I also want to thank you for being one of the atheist UA-camrs years ago when I first left my lifelong religion, Jehovah's Witnesses. I did research to strengthen my faith in God, having no clue it would lead me in the opposite direction, freeing my mind!
Good afternoon. Do you have a video regarding Wagner Cast Iron Round Roaster Dutch Oven. It has a 1269 A number. Trying to find out when were they made and if authentic. Thank you
I don't know of any fakes, the round roasters were made in the 1920's.
Thank you. I am going to be following instructions provided on your video using a vinegar wash.
