Im using one of these for my bearded dragon. Im curious as to why there are 4 timer options? and how to control them. I only want to use one but I can't seem to turn the other ones off and for some reason my UVB bulb will go on from 9-9 and then will come back on for an hour or so soon after.
Hello Alex, thank you for reaching out to us! The “LL” reading on your REPTI ZOO EZ Smart Thermo-Hygrostat Timer Controller means that your humidity is too low. You can fix this by raising the humidity in the enclosure if it’s too dry, or by changing the settings on your Thermo-Hygrostat if the low humidity reading is going off at a higher humidity than you want it to. I hope that’s helpful! If you have any other questions or comments, please reach out! Thank you, and have a nice day.
Yes, and there is a timer option if you’d prefer to set your mister like that! If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out! We can be contacted here or at info@repti-zoo.com.
I can't figure out how to turn off the alarm on this device. It beeps constantly when it falls out of range. I don't need to check my tank every single time the heat or humidity comes on in it. I must hit the upper left button about 20 times a day to silence the alarm on this device momentarily.
@@REPTIZOO-OFFICIAL Yes indeed, but it still beeps when it falls below a certain threshold. I have a crested gecko, so have to use a pretty low watt heater - and in the winter that means a lot of beeping. The device may not be so noisy in the summer, but I wish there was some way to turn off the audible alarms on the device. It makes it tough to get a good night's sleep. For a future model, it would be great if the beeping had an on/off setting. Or if it had a more specific setting that only triggered beeping if the tank could not adjust the temp/humidity after 1 hr or 2 hrs, etc. Beeping every time there's an adjustment means it's just telling me it's working...which I don't need to know about unless something *stops* working. :p

The timer makes absolutely no sense. I want a 20 hour day cycle. But I cant make that cycle start after 4am IN THE MORNING. Wtf. If I try to go later than that I can’t set the ending cycle later than midnight.

I need my fogger to keep a humidity of 30%-50% during the day and 50%-80% at night. Is there an option for day and night humidity? I have a chameleon so the temperature needs to be on at all times and off at night just like my UV. is there also a setting for that? so far this thing doesnt seem to be working for what i need it for with a chameleon.

not impressed. the functions dont respond to the settings. I have the temps set correctly and the heat pad blasts right past the set temp and doesnt turn off. same for the fogger
The heat sensor is for the ambient temperature in the entire enclosure. There is no way for the device to know the temperature of the heat pad simply through a power plug. It is meant for regulating a heat lamp as it will turn it on or off depending on the ambient temperature.
@@peepeezza of course you could always tape the thermometer to the glass directly over a heat mat applied to the other side of a glass tank to monitor surface temperature to try and regulate the surface temp so the reptile doesn't burn itself.

Brian Schneide Hello Brian, “HH” does mean “high humidity.” If you’re seeing this alert on your screen, you should check the terrarium to make sure the humidity isn’t higher than what you want. If the terrarium doesn’t seem to be humid enough to set off the high humidity alarm, the hygrometer sensor can be removed from the terrarium and set out for air drying.
