Bukem was way ahead of his time, absolute genius
Tkosi ti
a lot of d'n'b circa 95 was ahead of time, listening to this in the end of 2021, and it still sounds so futuristic to me
@@maciejzee474 And it'll probably still do in the future 😊
@@97Giorgos97 I wonder how many years it'll take before this finally starts sounding contemporary to people haha
To be fair and in my humble opinion Bukem was the one single prolific producer whose tracks, made in that golden period 1992-95, pretty much every single tune he put out - plus its AA - was dependably an incredible splendorific belter of a timeless beautiful gem. Other producers (obvs loads of em) had equal moments of genius but not with such consistency. Of course just my opinion based on my own taste.
You’re a wizard pulling all these Bukem classics out of a hat ❤️
Oh, Tom… Don’t know how else to express my gratitude.
Pre-1995 Bukem mixes go hard. Not to say his 'Intelligent DnB' stuff after 1996 isn't great too, if anything I probably still like that stuff more, but this style of atmospheric jungle is awesome.
Love this Album Cover! Reminds me of the 1980s Legendary Grace Jones👑 Artistic Style. LTJ👑 is TheGOAT💯 #NExTLEvELMuSIC #ThanksFRED🏆
The transition between hardcore and sweet melodic d and b , big up Danny. One love x
Might be the best Bukem I’ve ever heard 😳 so dynamiqué 🤌

I love this so much. Mr Fredericks I’ve been listening to your uploads for the past couple months now and I just love them. I was only a little kid in the early 90s (I was five in 1993 when Bukem put this out), but the DnB from this era is my favourite type of electronic music. I don’t like standard, heavy DnB. I just like this lighter, even somewhat ambient kind of DnB. Is this “Intelligent DnB” or was it standard DnB of its day before it got to the really hardcore heavy stage (which I don’t like)?
This is the intelligent style, I watched it all evolve back in the day and I agree with you that this is one of the best dnb styles out there.
50 now so not going to any dnb parties anymore but if they ever revive this style I'll be back on the dance floor and of my nut😛
Find out where Bukem is playing next and go....;)
