I baked using sand in stove for 45 mins. It turned completely dark black. But when I soak them in water for half a day it starts dissolving.can u suggest some tips for that.
Sorry.. you have to fire the terracotta Jewellery not bake .baking will be at 250 degree max but it should reach 800 degree to 1000 degree to get complete fire .only that way it will be fired completely.pot makers wont bake pots they fire them same method applies here also Only with kiln or in electric kiln it is possible. I was doing this before u can find the difference. Jewelleries *will be heavy if you bake them* It will be lighter when you fire them *Wrong method*

Many be Neenga naeraya sawdust use panirupinga or big vessels use panirupinga..try closy vessels (preferred sand pots)

No need to soak...just rinse it with water to clean the dirts...once u painted and varnished ur jewellery I becomes water proof(not 100%)
