Thank you so much for taking the time to create a video on how to renew the CVT Fluid on a Jazz. On my 2008 model, the CVT oil drain plug had been leaking oil for probably 4 months and I did not notice it because I used to park it on the street. When I found out I checked the dip stick and with hot or cold engine I was getting a below cold level similar to what you saw when you checked after filling with new oil. So I went and purchased a 4 litre can from Honda dealer and topped it up about 1/2 litre. Now I am getting odd readings, when I check with hot engine say after driving it for 10 miles. It reads maybe 1mm above the hot level mark. But when I check the next morning when the car had sat all through the night. The level is showing even higher than the Hot mark. Tried 5 times, even after the engine has cooled down say after 3 hours, I get the same high level readings. I am confused as to what to think, have I over filled it and I need to drain some oil out or is this normal behaviour?
This is not a flush, it is a drain and fill. A flush is when ALL the fluid (9 qts) is drawn from the CVT and flushed with 100% new fluid. This drain and fill only replaces about 40% of the fluid.
This is a part oil-change as described in the Honda Owner's Manual. It's what Honda say is to be done. Some 1.4l (27% of total) of oil remains in the gearbox. That's another good reason to do this part-change every 2 years.
Hi, I'm having a very bad shuttering on take off on my honda cvt, just after doing a transmission oil change with the honda cvtf hcf-2 fluid. I can't drive the car for so long, it shakes the whole car really bad pls i need help.
you might need this ua-cam.com/video/ImrrM_FFFFM/v-deo.html but first, try doing a reset by disconnecting the battery leads and holding them together to clear the car's computer memory, even turn the headlights on while disconnected to dissipate any electricity in the system. google Honda Fit/Jazz forums for procedure
Hi mate, I have a question about the screw near at the drain plug for ATF. I accidentally remove the screw beside the drain plug and there is fluid coming out and it's same color with the ATF fluid. I am worried about it. thanks

Make sure it's hot, but not running on level ground. 1 mm above should be ok.
so do you just leave the fluid thats left below the drain nut or jack the other side up?

Just to confirm, we are talking about the CVT transmission, not the normal auto!
Where can I find this tipe of oil please? I can't find 😢😢

Your Honda Fit doesn't have transmission oil filter?
I have a 2004 Honda Jazz while I'm on the road and the automatic transmission shuts off. Can you help me solve the problem
That sound like your alternator is not charging your battery and powering you car...
Hi did you change the filter as well
Take dipstick next time all oil come out and this is not flush cvt 😊
hi i have honda jazz 2008, is it CVT fluid or AT fluid?
I used CVT. Should verify from your manual...
Is this 2009 Honda Fit
shouldn't we flush the cvt lines ?
ideally yes
Don’t say flush this is a change waste of time watching this
