- Ororon is the newest 4 star character introduced in Genshin Impact version 5.2. In this video, I showcase him with the Favonius Bow at constellation 0. He is a great support character especially for budget players. He's great with Neuvillette, Chasca, and many other taser / electro-charged centric teams.

If you've actually been using Ororon in the overworld. You'd realize that Ororon's traversal ability is actually quite convenient and good despite it looking underwhelming. The fact that it's the same inside and outside of Natlan is even better. You don't need to consume phlogiston you can just hop around everywhere.
Agree. As someone who doesn't have wanderer and Chasca, Ororon is decent already then I paired him with Xilonen

Does it mention this in his kit? Other than the purple filter, I'm not noticing anything obviously special about it
lol at the first part. super jump has no cooldown + the fast gliding passive works wonders on exploration. been using him to clear sumeru and fontaine map
as a friendship hunter, im glad that i got him even hes alone(c0). i hope get more of his cons later and build him stronger
U guys complaining how fishl outdamaged him, GUYS THE POINT IS, ororon as a BUFFER, can almost reach the damage output of a good sub dps so it will be a GOOD dmg increase for taser team.
The fischl is c6 too compared to a c0 Ororon

Ororon is not a good sub-DPS; Fischl is. The buff is good, but her damage in this case is better than the buff. The same applies to Furina and Xilonen: Furina is better because she provides both buffs and solid sub-DPS. While Xilonen offers a lot of buffs, Furina's sub-DPS is sufficient to make her the better choice.
Not surprised really. Actually i'm more surprised Ororon is almost keeping up. At c0! (compared to a c6 fischl) So at c6 he might actually even be better.
Ororon is C0 built as support, his Fischl is C6 moster... but yeah, she is really great offield DPS and much better than Ororon in that

@velgadisblue9923 i got 7 barbaras, a qiqi, 2 weapons 3 sucrose and 1 ororon in 90 pulls smh. this is by far the most characters ive got in a 10 pull but man i wish it was ororon instead of my c12 barbara 🙄
I got 4 Barbara's n 2 sucrose lol wasn't mad at the sucrose pulls cause I never got her before but Barbara was already c5 😒
@MunnyDShot same. i only had 1 copy of sucrose and now, 210 pulls in, c4 sucrose, c4 ororon, a bunch of weapons, ningguang, qiqi, chasca's weapon and chasca and most of all c12 barbara 🫠. all these for a "chance" to get c6 ororon lol
I really like that he's usable at c0. That means I don't have to worry about pulling for cons ^^ cause I got Chasca in 40 pity. I save for Mauvika now c:

I hope you enjoy your new Ororon and Chasca! I like Chasca, but I’m sure I would have gotten 4 Barbara’s and zero Ororons if I tried to pull on this banner. So i’m skipping for Mavuika 😭 sigh.
I have a question for pity. I recently came back to the game after a 3 year hiatus. I'm now adventure rank 28 and have done around 50 wishes this Chasca banner. Before my hiatus I was around A.R 22 and maybe have done 20-40 wishes in total can't recall. Does that mean I lost my 50/50 chance at 75 pity?
@@millionbuck5497 your wish history only goes back 6 months, but your pity never expires. So any pity you had before you left is still there.
@@millionbuck5497 Soft pity starts around 70 ish. Whatever five star you get will depend if you win the 50/50 or not. Sounds like you're around soft pity but haven't got the 5 star yet. Hard pity is at 90 for a guaranteed five star.
If you lost your 50/50 before, then you should be guaranteed. Otherwise, you're on 50/50.

Let me dumb it: Ascend Ororon, then when electro and hydro damage is done, Ororon will deal electro damage to all surrounding enemies even when off field, use skill and burst to aply electro, burst taunts, that's it 🦇
use him with chasca for buff and Electro bullet
his kit is quite complicated
He is multi target Fischl with taunt and can buff the whole party, he also has exploration skills, he's very strong
Haven't been able to fully built him yet, but so far in low end proof of concept testing ive been having good results with a Lisa, yelan, oloron, sayu taser team. Its quite fun, and different with the normal aggervate lisa teams.

i have him c2, lvl 90, 1/7/7, 70/180, 2k atk, 130 er.
he's definitely good, no regrets building him.
he deals 11k up to 14k per passive (and that's up to 4 enemies, a total of almost 50k in aoe scenarios), no er issues, and he almost doesn't need any field time.
same, infact mine's C3 and not completely built yet with the cinder city set. and he can easily carry as an offfield electro 4 star. Fichl has been dethroned. (or maybe a good amount of competition at least)
what weapon did you put on him? I think I gave him the blue standard 5 star.
@@lostchronicles i gave him skyward harp, based on my calcs, it's his 3rd/4th best weapon overall.
planning to give him polar star in the future 'cause, again, based on my calcs, that's his best in slot weapon (damage-wise).
@inouehotaru I agree with you on that. Currently it's on Fichl for me, the polar star. But maybe I should change that. Thanks for letting me know.
I managed to get C1 and I'm already impressed by his damage at low investment (low on mora and hero's wit lol)
This made me realise on top of not having 4 star guarantees - it's difficult to pull for a 4 star you want on a limited banner you don't want to win...
Would LOVE a C6 Ororon. Some of his cons would really help in the way I want to use him. pause
Before 5.2, I was at 57 pity (got Nahida C2 early after losing a 50:50 but wanted to keep pulling for C0 Sethos... didn't get him... even though I spent around 100 fates on Nahida's and Hu Tao's banners in total). At first, I wanted to skip pulling during Phase 1 of 5.2, but when I saw that both Sucrose (been waiting to get her C5 and maybe C6) and Ororon are on that banner, I couldn't resist and did one10 -- pull.

I got lucky! Got C0 Ororon without getting a 5 - star.
Still... won't spend any more fates on that banner (guess, I'll have to wait for another Sucrose rerun) and save my pity for Neuvilette (no guarantee, hope I win the 50:50).
Just wanted to post this because of your comment about pulling for a 4 star you want on a limited banner you don't want to win...

Thank you for looking more in depth on whether the cinder city buff is getting triggered. Finding out what shares ICD and what we need to use to activate that buff is very relevant so I extra appreciate you spending the time on it.
He's comfy to use rather than that saurian coz u can climb with him after reaching a height but not with saurian and he can be suspended in 1 place for sometime after jumping to max height.
Electro Charged has an internal cooldown per character per enemy. You can't trigger more than 1 Electro Charge reaction in 0.5s by the same character. The first Hypersense didn't trigger electro charge because it was in the same 0.5s as his skill.
Dropped about 30 pulls for Ororon, got C2….very happy😅

My insightful comment is that he was not in the Nightsoul Blessing state when he used his skill and triggered electro-charge, that's why the artifact set effect didn't register it. He entered this state AFTER he himself. The best solution is to have other characters proc electrocharge or nightsoul damage first and then attack with Ororon. Still it really doesn't matter since he can proc the artifact set while being off field.
it's good too just use elemental skill and then burst. elemental will make ororon into nightsoul, and burst will do damage with he already in nightsoul
I'm so happy I got him, this is my 3rd fav character, aside from Xingqui and Heizou. ✨️
15:12 I feel like you should activate Ororon before Fishl so she can snapshot Cinder City too, since she does so much damage in this team

i believe ororon is also the first character that can upgrade dendro damage via cinder city set, but it might be harder to trigger electro charged

0r0ron is already in nightsoul state 13:51.
The purple line under his HP is nightsoul state.
Means as long as you have the purple line you can activate the Cinders city set without doing any Electro-charge.
His Hypersense only activate after a electro-charge is done and consume ororon nightsoul accumulated points.
Which increase his damage by 160% of his atk.
He doesnt need hypersense to enter Nightsoul state

I was aiming for Lyney. But got Ororon at C2 instead. Lost my 50/50. I tried him out and fell in love with him. Kinnich and Ororon combo is perfect for natlan exploration. And when I finally got Lyney, i felt so sad. That proves that I wanted Ororon more haha. I can happily say that Ororon is now part of my main team. Gonna keep pulling for his cons ❤
When Neuv and Zhongli come by next Phase, I 100% plan on having those 3 with my Kazuha for a taser build. No it isn't meta but it's a Neuvillette team he'll still dunk on everything and it'll be fun having Not Kyogre spam Hydro Pump AND Thunder.

Ororon's burst having a 3 second ICD is actually for the better. Because, most characters will have default ICD of 2.5 secs on their damage. So Ororon with his burst will be the one to trigger the electro-charge reaction needed to in turn trigger the artefact 4pc passive of Scroll of the hero of cider city (what a mouthful lol).
Just got his c1 while wishing for lyney, now I’ll pull neuvillette to play ororon with him; I have fischl built and like her but ororon design is great too
Outside of Natlan, Ororon is the best character to catch Crystalflies with.
Got Chasca before wasting another 50 pulls to get him. But he's worth it for Chasca team

i was in the "build pity and don't mind if i get chasca camp" and of course, got an early chasca, but honestly she's fun af and i'm probably gonna use her wayyy more than i thought including overworld.

I pulled him first ten pill and absolutely love him with furina. I hope to pull concellations of him but so far I’ve only managed 2 barbs, 2 weapons XD
I love him so much, he’s the reason I unbenched Ayato. I’m really glad I pulled for him, I might not get my C1 Neuvillette since Lyney took my guaranteed. it’s all good tho, I love Lyney. I’ll thrive with C1!!

He's Right! I was pulling for Ororon WHILE building pity and i ended up with c2 Chasca
My account is either blessed or cursed, can't decide, I did 50 pulls (from 0) and maxed was able to c6 Ororororororororon. It's the same with new 4* everytime but I see lots of people say it's hard to get 4*, downside is NOT a single time have I gotten an early 5* I've always had to go to 75+ and usually get them at 82 pulls 😢 not sure if I should be happy about the tradeoff and just take the 4* but then again not all of em are worth it

Lucky day: got Lyney C1 + Ororon on my first 10 wishes!! Plus tried the weapon banner and got Lyney's signature weapon in 30 wishes
Funny thing is you can restore your stamina by using charged attack. You can just fly infinitely in Natlan with Chasca by doing that.

He can be electro buffer in Clorinde overloaded team in tandem with Chev' and Benny's buff. Clorinde, Ororon, Chev, and Benny.

That is a heavily invested C6 Fischl, barely doing more than a C0 hardly invested in Ororon. Get cons and invest in him, and he's doing better by a landslide. Ororon is just simply better in Electro Charged teams, no debate to be had.

4:45 reasoning behind this goes like this:
Electro-Charge/Nightsoul aligned DMG = Ororon Night Soul Blessing state(consuming Night Soul points)
Cinder City Buff : If the Equip Char triggers Elemental reaction +12% Elemental DMG buff to those involve, additional 28% if Equip Char in Nightsoul Blessing State
Kokomi applies Hydro + Ororon eletricute : Electro charge
Ororon : Nigth Soul Blessing State aka Glowing Thunder thing.
Cinder City Buff: ok so there is an elemental reaction +12% did he also trigger it during His Glowing thunder thing? No ok , so no +28%

+40% Electro & Dendro DMG buff

Got only c0 in over 50 pulls but on the plus side got Chasca quite early

The transformative reaction buff must be really potent, my Furina + Ororon + Xilonen + C2 Raiden team, beats my fastest Furina + Kazuha + Xilonen + C2 Raiden time for world bosses.
My Ororon is just lvl 70 unascended, and he beats Kazuha's buffs.

i was at 65 pity, did one single wish in fear cause I need this pity for Mavuika , it was a 4*, and it was ororon !
Sometimes I regret pulling for xilonene's weapon wasting 120 wishes rather than saving for the pyro archon.
Doing the new dragon castle in the new update and I was wondering for new players that choose to go to Natlan after Mondstant and Liyue .... If they think Liyue mountains were terrible ... wait until those space rocks in Natlan >>> Without Kinich and Ororon in the team ... It would be very very unpleasant to do .

I got him mainly to maintain my collection of fully built electro characters 😊.
If looking for weapons for him, Blackcliff Bow is a good call, I'm working to build up the Chainbreaker Bow right now as the eventual replacement (my Blackcliff is level 82 R5, I've had it a while. Yes, you could use Elegy of the End, but I'm trying to use weapons with characters that by lore, location, and current history would have come across the weapon or got their hands on one).
i had to give my r2 blackcliff to chasca but my r2 alley hunter has been working well on ororon & looks so nice on him, almost like it was made for him 😂
Good stuff. I'm sure you get too many conflicting opinions about this, but i wouldn't mind if you used slightly more jacked f2p teams, maybe not speedrun artifacts, but with the strongbox even f2ps usually have better 'looking' stuff then at least how it appears (i'll assume its like 95% crit rate, so actually not as bad as it looks numbers wise)
I haven't seen a 4k xingqiu or a fischl that does less then 10k in ages, im literally getting flashbacks to like 1.6 with numbers like that, and thats before the vv buffs and ororons become included, abyss floor buffs. won't blame you if you leave it as it is in future though because im sure a million people have already commented "ya but whale artifacts" over the years.... just saying its different these days with strongbox, the norm has caught up
100 pulls, C0 chasca and no Ororon, currently now 25 pity. he really didn't want to come
I was at pity 60 with 50/50. I did 10 pulls, and got him aith barbara without any 5stars.. i am glad my pity is safed😆😆😆

11:25 Wait, what's Kachina doing in that team? Having two Scroll set holders doesn't stack the buffs. Is she only there for damage? If so, wouldn't Fischl be better to use instead?
I got confused too, but it seems she's using Archaic Petra and not Cinder City, so the buffs do stack. That's likely why he said it's a budget team, it's three 4*s that only need their respective artifact set bonus to work, and don't really need lvl, constellations or talents

I kinda want him as my second Fischl. But I don't necessarily want Chasca and I definitely don't want Lyney. I pulled about 70 wishes on Chascas banner now and I got neither Ororon nor Chasca (started with 20 pity).
Instead I got 8 Barbara, 6 Sucrose, 3 Razor, 1 Bennet, 1 Fischl. I already have all of them C6!
This has probably been the worst banner for me so far - even over the 2x Naviva 50/50 loss on both release and rerun, always getting Qiqi or Dehya. So I guess I won't wish anymore and save up for Mauvika and maybe Citlali. If we don't get Capitano soon or a Wriothseley rerun I'll seriously have no other cryo and might want to pull for both.
