Agree! I'm usually one who hates whenever filmmakers make changes from the source material, but the creative team on this show executed those changes beautifully.
he is truly one of the most strikingly beautiful people i have ever laid eyes on fucking hell.. in a show full of beautiful people with sublime charisma and chemistry doing unflinchingly sexy things - he truly stole every scene he was in. Such an ethereal yet dangerous presence. also all those vampirically slutty open necked shirts had me on my hands and knees.. the scene where a slow smile rolls over his face as Louis drinks from his neck?? ? lord i am down astronomically, cataclysmically bad
Before the show aired the way they portray Armand was a deal breaker for me. I thought I wasn't going to see him until season 2 and then when they did that reveal in the season 1 finale I lost my mind! Armand is my favorite vampire out of the series (I loved him in the book and the way Antonio Banderas played him in the movie) so it was a must for me that his character was done right and the writers of the show did NOT disappoint.
@@snowylove5 No. Unless you think that nothing matters and everything is relarive and up to personal yes or no, it does matter to honor the source material and say when it does not honor it. Same thing for anything else in life : stealing a piece of chocolate as a kid in a supermarket is not the end of the world because it's nothing more than a piece of chocolate. Yet it matters a lot. A thievery is a thievery. A wrong casting is a wrong casting whether you like it or not and it's important to be vocal about it so one day this trend can end.
@@francoiscolin6692 I read half of this and got bored. Again if you don't like the direction that they're choosing to go in, you don't have to waist your time watching. wait for another reboot. Hollywood is doing them every 5 min now anyway.
I don't think she will mind. She wanted lestat to be the way she pictured bc he was her favourite. Others characters are important to her but not as much as she changed them herself throughout her chronicles in later books
As a book reader, I love this Armand so much. The show adds a lot of refreshing changes.

You are not alone lol
This is actually the realest comment I’ve ever read
His huge, enormous, expressive lamppost eyes have bewitched me!
Cannot wait for S2 and seeing Assad enchant us all with his Armand!
They really had us gooped and gagged. He's perfect

Armaaanndd, we love You Babe.
Really?! I love Assad but not Armand as a character. Assad is brilliant but the character is just too awful for me in the things he does
i think i'm in love
He's the perfect Armand! I love his facial expressions, they really set the mood for the scene ❤
Assad seems to have such a lovely personality
Someone turned around all the books on the shelf behind so that you can't see binders with titles!!!!! WHY ON EARTH?
I just noticed, really why 😅
That's something Armand would do 😂
@@marianavase8805 yeah 😂
We love to see it
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
🥰😍
Nope. Nope. Don't disturb the image. Armand is the villain. Armand needs to be the villain - to our Claudia.
Nothing against the guy but this is not Armand.
Don't like it? Don't watch it🙄
@@snowylove5 more complexe than that.
@@francoiscolin6692 It really isn't.

You're nothing like the character. Anne Rice would turn in her grave.
let her roll in it
cope
no character is similar to the book characters. only lestat. and for others, cry about it. don't like it, don't watch.

anne rice was notorious for her racially insensitive depictions in VC so if this makes her upset then i’m glad
where do u get those contact lenses?
