HS2 funds sports hall floor for WheelPower in Buckinghamshire

HS2 has helped with funding to replace the sports hall floor for WheelPower at Stoke Mandeville Stadium in Ayslebury, Buckinghamshire.
The HS2 Community and Environment Fund (CEF) provides funding over and above the committed mitigation and compensation to communities along the HS2 route and is available to organisations demonstrably disrupted by the construction of Phase One of HS2.

And then people wonder where all the money went. It's only expensive because so much was included. Not just the tracks but the stations, urban approaches, interchanges, tunnels, viaducts, other infrastructure, rewilding efforts, and then just random stuff like this...(?)
