Hey Jett, great video. Funnily enough, I found this camera in a drawer a few weeks ago as I want to pick up photography as a new hobby. Pretty sure my mum had bought it years ago and I don't think it's ever been used so I decided to do some research and came across your UA-cam Video. Thanks a million for the information, it's very useful and I'm more than likely going to use it for trips away just as you have! I have a question, I'm not sure if I missed it in the video, what 35mm colour film do you use?
Ahhh so glad you found value in this video! Thank you for your kind words I really appreciate it. The film that I use is Kodak Gold 200 and Kodak ColorPlus 200. Which ever one is cheaper and I can get my hands on. I would recommend taking a look at some UA-cam videos that show the different types of 35mm colour film. This way you can then find the one you like the look of and then go for it. All the best!
The video is bang on, well done, it gives a proper insight into what the camera produces picture wise, and that was a key part for me. Thank you for confirming, I'll take a look at them online and watch a few vids explaining the differences. I'm off to the lake district at the end of the month, so hopefully I'll have everything ready to start using this little camera by then. All the best, keep up the good work!
This camera is so effing cool. It’s unfortunate that I paid Dubai tax on mine, so it cost £170. Way too much, but at the time I was looking at Minolta tc-1’s which are around £600, so I figured why not. The image quality is top notch, flash is decent and the only real downside is the minimum focusing distance which is probably around a metre.
Awesome video! My mother recently was about to throw this camera away, and I took it! I’ll revive it and give it more life. What films are compatible for this camera, and what’s your favourite as for best results?
Ahhh what a great save!!! Amazing! It needs 35mm film. I love black & white and colour film. I’d say Kodak UltraMax or Kodak Gold is nice. Any of the Kodaks are great. Let me know how you get on!
Hey hello from India , actually I have that camera with me btw my dad brought it while he was dozing some work it been like 21 years for now but I have to find its battery and also film in online btw I feel the way the photoes turn own was just bomb ❤🎉
I sorta have to disagree with using point and shoots with film: old digicams we’re made to produce similar image qualities out of camera to film, and they are much more affordable. Another issue with point and shoots is that you have no possible control of aperture and shutter speed unless you’re spending multiple grand. So if you want to take pnotography seriously, point and shoots aren’t really that worth it? Anyway that time square shot is absolutely a keeper
I respectfully counter-disagree! I have all sorts and each camera has its place. Digicams have a digicam look. The images look somewhat more modern than film images, yet lo-fi compared to modern digital. They capture the essence of the mid-2000’s, whereas point and shoot film cameras look more ‘80’s & 90’s.
This is a great video! I’ve been researching this camera the last few hours and this video really helped me. Thank you!
Ah amazing! So glad you found it helpful! 🙌
I have this camera but I cannot find his cell anywher😢😅
This was lovely Thankyou God bless you

100% agree! 🤩
Hey great video !
I have this camera and just got the film for it do you think I should take my pictures with the flash on or off ?
Awesome! I don’t use flash that often. Only if it’s really dark!
Awesome video! My mother recently was about to throw this camera away, and I took it! I’ll revive it and give it more life.
What films are compatible for this camera, and what’s your favourite as for best results?
For example can I use cinestil films and ilford?

Great video! What type of film did you use on the New York trip please?😊
Thank you! Kodak 35mm 🫶
Hiii! How to transfer the pictures to cellphone? ❤
It’s a film camera so you’ll need to get the film developed and get them to scan them and put them on a hard drive.
