5ds is an abbriviation for "5 dragon signers". There's this dragon called "the crimson dragon" and it those who are a "signer" have a mark portraying a part of it's body. Basicly, it's a sort of deity. Yes, they do in fact duel on those motorcycles, which is where the "CARD GAMES ON MOTORCYCLES" joke comes from, because it litterally is that, card games on motorcycles. These mf's are canonically playing card games, while going 220 kilometers (136.62 miles) per hour

If you dig the idea of tactical and strategic games and combat with insane hax and creatures combined with a UNO, you’re gonna love this franchise, especially the part with Yugi.
One thing to take note of when you watch any of the yuigoh shows, is that a lot of the time the card effect's are Different in real life then what is used in the show so in case you Ever think a specific card is very overpowered just remembered that And most likely has a weaker or In some cases completely different effect In real life
Lemme tell ya, Zexal is by far the best Yugioh has to offer in terms of the anime. The main character is much like us when we first started playing the game, making him a lot more relatable than the previous main characters, who were all elite level duelists straight out of the first episode. Now to some, the more experienced player, this can come off as irritating at the beginning because he makes pretty basic mistakes, but as time passes he becomes far more competent, to a point where I believe at the peak of his powers, he is the strongest duelist out of all the shows combined. I'd recommend keeping an open mind about the first 12 episodes, as I can see why people struggle to get through them as it's mostly filler, but they're necessary for the growth of the main character and his relationship with one of his rivals/friends. But after that, you'll just get bangers after bangers after bangers! One last thing, and this thing doesn't bother me, but it for some reason infuriates other people, if you're gonna watch it dubbed, keep an open mind about the main character's voice, eventually you will get used to it, and if you're watching dub, just know that there is things removed from the Japanese dub that make the Zexal more compelling, it's one of the few gripes I have with Zexal in the dub version. Other than that, I'm positive you'll enjoy it! And hey, if you need a guide for the show, I'm your guy👍
If you do 5Ds, your gonna want japanese version with subtitles. The english dub cut alot out and didnt even air the last season(on tv atleast. I dunno, maybe they did sub the last season?)
Same with gx. Also did they finish zexal before 4kids folded? Honestly I'd just default to subbed either way since yugioh isn't known for its amazing dubs.
@@mr.protagonist5639they completely butcher the final season of zexal in the dub, literally every emotional scene is changed or cut and it’s a total disgrace to the sub
@@SaucyCharmander @mr.protagonist5639 in 5Ds the dub skipped a few episodes and Retconned the evolution of Jacks Red Dragon Archfiend. 32:44 Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's is very Dark with it being set in distant future, where the upper-class population live in Neo Domino City (New Domino City in the English version) and the lower class in a remote island where Domino's sewage is transported, Satellite. Seventeen years prior, a reactor called Moment within the city malfunctioned and caused a great earthquake that split the city in two parts: Satellite, the rundown and poverty-stricken part (also the former Domino City), and Neo Domino City, the wealthier and urban part. In order to keep the two areas separate, access to the city from the Satellite is strictly prohibited and can result in imprisonment. The protagonist Yusei Fudo, an aspiring Duelist from Satellite, builds his own Duel Runner (D-Wheel in the Japanese version), but his best friend Jack Atlas betrays him and steals his vehicle along with his most precious monster, Stardust Dragon, escaping to Neo Domino. Two years later, Yusei builds another Duel Runner and secretly travels to Neo Domino City to win back his Stardust Dragon. Edit: This right here is the Peak! of Yu-Gi-Oh!
Video 5 of asking Bloom to watch Bakuten Shoot Beyblade (First ever Beyblade series) after completing Metal and Burst. This way we’ll still have Beyblade content till Season 2 of Beyblade X.
5DS and Vrains are my favorites due to their darker stories with zexal being close behind. As nostalgic as the og series and gx are, I just feel that they don't hold up the same. And then there's Arc-V, what was once in contention for the top spot tripped right before the finish line.
@@FarisZaghloul Ehh, rules were established a whole season later, too old school for me. Respect to the classic though, but i prefer the newer with the more fast paced duels
Vrains is actually REALLY interesting for me. It's set in the future where VR has become like Sword art online (another anime, same concept), where you can litterally be inside the vr game, like your whole concioussness. Your actual body is left behind, and you basicly just live in the vr world (until you log out of course). What makes this show interesting is the AI. In this series, there are Ai's known as "ignis", who were modelled after 6 children who were all kidnapped and kept captive, forced to use vr to scan their brains and create Ai with free wills. When i say free will, i mean COMPLETE free will, not some computer following a program, but they can think on their own. Only difference between them and humans are that they are made of code, but they have as much sentience as a human
The final arc of ZeXal is one of my favorites of any yugioh series, but in 2024, seeing a series that takes almost 80 episodes before becoming interesting is clearly not worth it
Cbloom create a poll The OG and GX are connected so they get watched back to back 5Ds And Zexal are separate dimensions ArcV needs the past series before it for context cuz it has dimension hopping involved Vrains is separate And Sevens and Go Rush are connected
Correction of the correction, Zexal and 5Ds are different timelines with Zexal and 5Ds being connected to the previous seasons (GX and DM). The rest are standalone with the rush style animes being connected to each other
If you do watch these shows, I highly recommend keeping the theme of this video and watch the JP subs because the dub of the earlier series had a bad history of editing mature and darker themes to make the anime more kid friendly that it resulted in entire moments and even final arcs (GX/5D's) skipped over and never dubbed. And 54:20 is more of an anniversary OP which is why it showed the first 5 protags, but you wouldn't be too far off with the multiverse theory.
Bro watching those openings again make me miss the time back in 2018 where I got back into Yu-Gi-Oh! again and man I miss binge watched all the Yu-Gi-Oh! Anime. For me personally I enjoy watching all of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Anime from studio Gallop. Unfortunately, due to some issues behind the scenes Vrains was the last anime with the iconic art style. I hope the new studio succeeds and maybe bring rush duel to the USA and other parts of the world. Man watching those opening again wish I can meet the man who started it all. RIP Mr. kazuki takahashi, the characters, stories, and Iconic monsters wouldn’t exist because of you. Thank you…
Also I honestly love all the YGO shows and would strongly recommend watching all of them (sub or dub but probably sub) My personal favorites are Zexal, Arc-V, Sevens, and Go Rush!
Yu-Gi-Oh has used CGI since 5Ds, but it's never looked to good. It's bearable and they only us it for bigger monsters though, so it's fine. At least that's my experience from the shows I've seen (DM, GX and ARC-V)
one of the great things about yugioh is how you can start at any series - and they all have their strengths and weaknesses. always something to enjoy no matter which one you pick up. (lots of senseless rambling below this point i'm very sorry if you decide to advance it got away from me - i care too much about the silly card game show) my personal favourites are gx, sevens and go rush (aside - you missed the most recent opening for go rush, which is understandable considering it's relatively new). sevens and go rush are really good and very funny - sevens is especially good if you're looking for something to watch that's easy and lighthearted since it has good jokes (i've heard the dub is also very funny) and compelling characters. sevens and go rush also have very good monster designs! go rush is... very wild to say the least but when the plot gets good in go rush i'm telling you it GETS GOOD. the second op (the last one you listened to) was done by bradio who are quite famous for having done flyers, the op to death parade. i was really happy to hear you praise the sevens and go rush ops a lot of the time people will react to ygo ops and discredit them because of the change in art style. also, i'm glad you liked the first op for gx. it's so funky i'm always sad when i see people dislike it. gx in general has one of my favourite osts in general (including ops and eds) but i'm also biased haha. also as you predicted, gx has a LOT of crazy shit! especially in season 1. i think zexal is perhaps one of the strongest though despite that. the visuals are really good, the character and monster designs are fun, it has some of the best character arcs in yugioh and also some of the best plot arcs in yugioh as well. all the ops (as you saw - my personal favourite is op 5) and eds slap. some real good stuff all round. highly recommend it! when it comes to the bridge shows (sevens and go rush) the duels i feel are a lot of fun to watch - they're accompanied by some very colourful characters that suit their decks and use them in fun ways. i've had people say about gallop (dm-vrains) ygo that you can kind of skip through the duels cause they can get kind of hard to follow and clunky but the nature of the different format of duels bridge ygo uses makes it a lot more streamlined. which makes sense, since master duel (gallop) yugioh duels weren't originally created at their base to be a real trading card game while rush duels were. this is all just my two cents though - the confusing nature of the duels is probably why my favourite of the gallop shows remains gx
My favorite is zexal. Because yuma is my lil bro. He show that you dont need to win everytime to be the protagonist ,and shark character and kaito is cool
If you're gonna watch yugioh. Like pokemon you've gotta start with ths first series. The bond between Yugi and the spirit of the puzzle is incredible and overall the first series is Iconic to this day
The English openings for the OG Yugioh and 5DS will always be goated for me, IDC. The Japanese stuff is good because the English is HEAVILY censored though.
I say he should do the OG and Sevens / Go Rush together because its like his Two beyblade reactions The OG has over 200 episodes And Sevens and Go Rush are in the own completely separate universe with a different play style Go rush has 92 episodes and Go Rush is on episode 110 and starting its 3rd season this year They are in the same time line as Sevens and Go Rush are connected
Sevens is unironically the best Yugioh series, also there's a 3rd op for Go Rush but it's visuals aren't yet complete so it just used footage from the show
All thr series are good but for me my top 4 are ZEXAL GX Classic and SEVENS although I haven't finished Vrains or started GO Rush yet but i enjoy Vrains and GO rush looks really cool
Original Yu-Gi-Oh: A classic, pacing is atrocious like most anime in that era but still worth a watch for certain scenes/duels. Yu-Gi-Oh GX: This was my intro to the franchise and holds a special place in my heart because of it. Technically a direct sequel to the original Yu-Gi-Oh, but you don't really need to watch it in order to follow the plot. If you do watch it, you gotta watch it subbed. The 4th season of the show never made it to the West, due to 5Ds and the themes being pretty dark. Season 3 of GX is peak. Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds: Peak Yu-gi-oh. Very gritty and grounded (well, as grounded as a show set in a dystopian classist future with people playing card games on motorcycles can be). Yu-Gi-Oh Zexal: Part 1 of the show was a real drag. Part II was unironically great. Yu-Gi-Oh Arc-V: Wasted potential in anime form. So many cool things but just felt super rushed especially towards the end. Yu-Gi-Oh Vrains: Unmitigated disaster, mostly due to drama on the admin/showrunner side.
If you get copyright struck on this, might I recommend replacing the music with an 8-Bit version of it? Saw that done in another openings reaction, and might help you, if the situation comes up.^_^
I personally love all the yugiohs, buuuut the latest two(Sevens and Go Rush) differently are more directed at kids. Even so, there's still dark aspects to them, and still love the complicated duels regardless. Some of them, like original Yugioh and 5D's and Vrains, start dark, while some like GX and Zexal and Arc V start lighter hearted but become dark.
Actually Zexal would be a good start if thats what looks interesting to you. I definitely think its one of the besr yugioh seasons despite its divisiveness
If you decide to watch these amazing shows for the love of god watch in sub, i know some voices in dub are amazing and definitely better than their sub counterpart, but my Lord, the amount of censorship for some of these shows in the dub ruins the drama and any tension of their stories As for zexal, I'm in the minority of it being my favourite series most people hate it because the mc dub voice is god awful (claws on chalkboard bad) and it had a rough start to the first half of its first season but i love it i can never tire of it
Ok here’s the thing: Going in order is probably the best choice, as all series has a reference in some way shape or form to a previous series. Such as, Zexal might have a Gx reference, or etc. going in order will help you understand references, and also introduces new game mechanics slowly so it’s also better to understand the game.
Would love to see you watching yugioh, but doing it in order of release is probably the best way to do it imo, especially doing the first 3 and then the bonds beyond time movie
I promise, Zexal, if you can get through the first 20 or so episodes is really good. I will admit that some of the dub voices are awful but god does the plot hit HARD once it truly gets going. I say this having watched it all. All I will say is it did dimensional warfare way better than Arc-V and genuinely hits me in the feels with some of the stuff that happens Have been watching 5D's dub (Last season you are forced to watch sub) and would reccomend just watching 5D's and Zexal as sub. You miss out on some of the banger Zexal OST otherwise, and it's a crime if you see Number 62's summoning without Photon Stream Of Destruction in the background
almost all of the series' protagonist has some sort of supernatural power or connection to the supernatural; - yugi himself has the spirit of an ancient pharaoh guiding him - gx's protagonist is the reincarnation of an individual destiny to wield the powers of the gentle darkness against a cosmic alien force called light of destruction and he later fuses his spirit with another being called yubel giving him those green and orange glowing eyes - 5ds protagonist is 1 of the 5 (later 6) signers who is a person selected by the draconic god called the crimson dragon to wield his powers so something like a priest or priestess of sorts - zexal's protagonist is a broken off piece of otherworldly divine being reborn as a mundane human - arc-v's protagonist is 1/4th of an evil overlord hell bent on taking over the world, said evil overlord was originally a much more innocent person but was slowly corrupted into a monster, with no real method to defeat him someone managed to split him into 4 individual neither with memories of who they once were and hoping that with the erosion of time the evil will eventually be purified - vrain's protagonist was abducted to partake in an inhuman experiment that led to the creation of advance AI when he was very young and now as an older teen years later wants revenge - seven's protagonist... have no idea, i never watched it

I tell you 90% of Zexal haters didn't finish it
@@christopherarclight7917 Or watch the dubbed
@@christopherarclight7917 I finished it and I still don’t like it I can’t stand Yuma.
Wrong 5Ds is the best one get it right.
Did you watch the dub?
Arc v and zexal Japanese opening still slap to this day but nothing but the orginal yugioh dub opening
They also cut out all the emotional OSTs like Hopeless Battle in the condor dark signer battle. Among many other things. All the Yugioh series really need to be Redubbed by a company that isnt 4Kids...or following in the footsteps.
Not to mention the japanese soundtrack is way better than the 4kids ones, especially for 5ds
Only real plus side to the 5Ds dub was Yuseis voice actor was smooth as hell.
1 say start with zexal it is the best in my opinion i absolutly loved it
5Ds is easily my favorite and is definitely the best YGO show.
5ds, zexal, and arc v are debatably THE BEST yugioh shows
Zexal s1 and arc v final season were kinda off though from what I remember
@@adnanaboukewik4950early Zexal is slow but it picks up once we get introduced to Kite and than it gets progressively much more entertaining
Bro have u forgot Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monster
@@FarisZaghloul Ehh, rules were established a whole season later, too old school for me. Respect to the classic though, but i prefer the newer with the more fast paced duels
@@w1nther930 yes but I still love it it never gets old for me
og-GX-5ds-Zexal is a crazy crazy streak, rest are decent fs and have some * really * banger highs, heard go rush is super solid later but haven't seen
i loved zexal and you will love zexal, its like beyblade but in yugioh
I can't wait to see your reaction to the last gx opening. My favorite yugioh song ever by a landslide
15:06 not his mom, his ancestor's lover.
The final arc of ZeXal is one of my favorites of any yugioh series, but in 2024, seeing a series that takes almost 80 episodes before becoming interesting is clearly not worth it
Depends on if you play yugioh
Cbloom create a poll
The OG and GX are connected so they get watched back to back
5Ds And Zexal are separate dimensions
ArcV needs the past series before it for context cuz it has dimension hopping involved
Vrains is separate
And Sevens and Go Rush are connected
correction, dm , gx and 5ds are the same timeline , after that is all different
Correction of the correction, Zexal and 5Ds are different timelines with Zexal and 5Ds being connected to the previous seasons (GX and DM). The rest are standalone with the rush style animes being connected to each other
People sleep on Vrains but I loved it bc Revolver always reminded me of a mixture of Jack Atlus and Seto Kaiba
Top 3 for me would be:
5ds
Vrains
GX
If you do watch these shows, I highly recommend keeping the theme of this video and watch the JP subs because the dub of the earlier series had a bad history of editing mature and darker themes to make the anime more kid friendly that it resulted in entire moments and even final arcs (GX/5D's) skipped over and never dubbed.
And 54:20 is more of an anniversary OP which is why it showed the first 5 protags, but you wouldn't be too far off with the multiverse theory.
All of them are really good and it don’t which one you start with except for arc v cause they make a bunch of references to the previous ones
good thing gx op 2 is such fire that i will listen to it 20 times.
The first two openings of 5Ds and the second opening of Arc-V are my favorites.
They're fun shows, 100%should watch
Really appreciate you going and looking for the openings not included in the playlist
Thank you…
Loved the video! Also Go Rush got a new opening recently after the one you watched.
Also I honestly love all the YGO shows and would strongly recommend watching all of them (sub or dub but probably sub) My personal favorites are Zexal, Arc-V, Sevens, and Go Rush!
the main char of 5ds was such a g its so different from other yugioh series
Arc is my favorite yugioh no one can change my mind can't wait to wacth all the yugioh reactions
Zexal is really good bro and in anime perfect
5ds and zexal are great. Arc v had so much potential but the 1st season is really good
ZEXAL and 5D's are the best Yu-Gi-Oh! anime by far for me
28:45 "what happens in this arc"
everyone dies
Dude i remember collecting the cards when i was like 10
Yu-Gi-Oh has used CGI since 5Ds, but it's never looked to good. It's bearable and they only us it for bigger monsters though, so it's fine.
At least that's my experience from the shows I've seen (DM, GX and ARC-V)
For me the best yugioh cgi was in zexal. But yeah its never been the best.
Zexal had decent CGI imo.
For the first two opening of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, I can also recommend the german version.
They're my personal favorite version of those openings.
LET'S GOOOOOOO BLOOM GOT YUGIOH
I gotta say the first English opening to Yu-Gi-Oh 5D’s is a real banger
one of the great things about yugioh is how you can start at any series - and they all have their strengths and weaknesses. always something to enjoy no matter which one you pick up.
(lots of senseless rambling below this point i'm very sorry if you decide to advance it got away from me - i care too much about the silly card game show)
my personal favourites are gx, sevens and go rush (aside - you missed the most recent opening for go rush, which is understandable considering it's relatively new). sevens and go rush are really good and very funny - sevens is especially good if you're looking for something to watch that's easy and lighthearted since it has good jokes (i've heard the dub is also very funny) and compelling characters. sevens and go rush also have very good monster designs! go rush is... very wild to say the least but when the plot gets good in go rush i'm telling you it GETS GOOD. the second op (the last one you listened to) was done by bradio who are quite famous for having done flyers, the op to death parade. i was really happy to hear you praise the sevens and go rush ops a lot of the time people will react to ygo ops and discredit them because of the change in art style.
also, i'm glad you liked the first op for gx. it's so funky i'm always sad when i see people dislike it. gx in general has one of my favourite osts in general (including ops and eds) but i'm also biased haha. also as you predicted, gx has a LOT of crazy shit! especially in season 1.
i think zexal is perhaps one of the strongest though despite that. the visuals are really good, the character and monster designs are fun, it has some of the best character arcs in yugioh and also some of the best plot arcs in yugioh as well. all the ops (as you saw - my personal favourite is op 5) and eds slap. some real good stuff all round. highly recommend it!
when it comes to the bridge shows (sevens and go rush) the duels i feel are a lot of fun to watch - they're accompanied by some very colourful characters that suit their decks and use them in fun ways. i've had people say about gallop (dm-vrains) ygo that you can kind of skip through the duels cause they can get kind of hard to follow and clunky but the nature of the different format of duels bridge ygo uses makes it a lot more streamlined. which makes sense, since master duel (gallop) yugioh duels weren't originally created at their base to be a real trading card game while rush duels were. this is all just my two cents though - the confusing nature of the duels is probably why my favourite of the gallop shows remains gx
5Ds and VRains best
My favorite is zexal. Because yuma is my lil bro. He show that you dont need to win everytime to be the protagonist ,and shark character and kaito is cool
If you're gonna watch yugioh. Like pokemon you've gotta start with ths first series. The bond between Yugi and the spirit of the puzzle is incredible and overall the first series is Iconic to this day
I totally recommend Zexal, it has a very good story and characters
Fr
From 5ds-vrains have been slappers. Arc v being my favorite yugioh series
The English openings for the OG Yugioh and 5DS will always be goated for me, IDC. The Japanese stuff is good because the English is HEAVILY censored though.
Your reaction video was god tier!!!
You can watch 5ds,Zexal,Arc-V,Vrains,Sevens without watching og yugioh and gx because they're diff timelines and not really related
I say he should do the OG and Sevens / Go Rush together because its like his Two beyblade reactions
The OG has over 200 episodes
And Sevens and Go Rush are in the own completely separate universe with a different play style
Go rush has 92 episodes and Go Rush is on episode 110 and starting its 3rd season this year
They are in the same time line as Sevens and Go Rush are connected
Okay, now you need to all the Cardfight Vanguard openings.
Lots of damn fire there.
Finally I have been asking for this for months 🔥🔥🔥 but I hope you have the patience because the start is kinda slow
Finally You finished it. Do the 5ds please
hey listen man, the black guy with big nose and lips from GX
IS ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE ZNIME CHARACTERS 👌🏻
he's that badass
This is one of the best shows I ever watched and it's criminally underrated as much as I like the og but 5ds and zexal is definitely my favorite
Good taste
5Ds is like the Battle Tendency of Yugioh. Everyone agrees it's goated
The entire theme of 5ds is racing and a thing called speed duel
Saw that done in another openings reaction, and might help you, if the situation comes up.^_^
5ds and Zexal are quite good.
arc v is my fav but i still need to watch zexal and go rush right now im watching sevens
Bloom you are just him bro, I was wating for this so long.
Thanks bro and one more thing yugioh is even more fire than beyblade.🎉❤💪
I think you missed the latest opening actually, if I recall right. But still impressive you fit as many as you did in a single video. Well done.^_^
Zexal is great, it does have a mid start but it gets a whole better once the plot starts taking off
The sheer disconnect between "Fair Weather Rising Hallelujah" and "99%" is so jarring, especially if you read the lyrics.
Bruh who gave him a playlist that had all for versions of the Duel Monsters OP 4 like god damn
Zexal
Actually Zexal would be a good start if thats what looks interesting to you. I definitely think its one of the besr yugioh seasons despite its divisiveness
Zexal made me try to college all 107 number cards to start with that
If you decide to watch these amazing shows for the love of god watch in sub, i know some voices in dub are amazing and definitely better than their sub counterpart, but my Lord, the amount of censorship for some of these shows in the dub ruins the drama and any tension of their stories
As for zexal, I'm in the minority of it being my favourite series most people hate it because the mc dub voice is god awful (claws on chalkboard bad) and it had a rough start to the first half of its first season but i love it i can never tire of it
Ok here’s the thing:
Going in order is probably the best choice, as all series has a reference in some way shape or form to a previous series. Such as, Zexal might have a Gx reference, or etc. going in order will help you understand references, and also introduces new game mechanics slowly so it’s also better to understand the game.
Timeline likely goes

GX (Anime)
5ds (Anime)
Zexal (Anime)
Arc-V (manga)

5DS and Zexal are arguably the best in the entire franchise. For me 5DS is the best but there's definitely an argument for Zexal being the best.

All I will say is it did dimensional warfare way better than Arc-V and genuinely hits me in the feels with some of the stuff that happens
Have been watching 5D's dub (Last season you are forced to watch sub) and would reccomend just watching 5D's and Zexal as sub. You miss out on some of the banger Zexal OST otherwise, and it's a crime if you see Number 62's summoning without Photon Stream Of Destruction in the background
op 3 is a three way battle basically.
almost all of the series' protagonist has some sort of supernatural power or connection to the supernatural;
- yugi himself has the spirit of an ancient pharaoh guiding him
- gx's protagonist is the reincarnation of an individual destiny to wield the powers of the gentle darkness against a cosmic alien force called light of destruction and he later fuses his spirit with another being called yubel giving him those green and orange glowing eyes
- 5ds protagonist is 1 of the 5 (later 6) signers who is a person selected by the draconic god called the crimson dragon to wield his powers so something like a priest or priestess of sorts
- zexal's protagonist is a broken off piece of otherworldly divine being reborn as a mundane human
- arc-v's protagonist is 1/4th of an evil overlord hell bent on taking over the world, said evil overlord was originally a much more innocent person but was slowly corrupted into a monster, with no real method to defeat him someone managed to split him into 4 individual neither with memories of who they once were and hoping that with the erosion of time the evil will eventually be purified
- vrain's protagonist was abducted to partake in an inhuman experiment that led to the creation of advance AI when he was very young and now as an older teen years later wants revenge
- seven's protagonist... have no idea, i never watched it
If u ever watch Sevens and Go Rush be ready for a bit more comedy cuz these are a series for a younger audience but still probably some of the most enjoyable casts in the series
