Danielle, I enjoy watching you decorate your home. It reminds me of me so many years ago, when I was just starting out. My favorite piece you got in this video is the metal insert for steaming in a large pot (I think). When you first picked it up I thought, "Get That!" Glad you did. The design of the holes looks very vintage. I think it would look really great with fruit in it. Either on the counter or even hanging. I also think it would be fabulous with a chicken sitting in it with some straw or other nesting material. Or Easter eggs! I could go on and on.
The colander-like thing is a steamer for in a large stock pot. I have one & love it. Use it all the time. You got some nice things.
You could plant some pretty flowers in the sliver pot and nestle it in a flowerbed.
Loved the throw blanket, it looks really soft! The rolling pin, yes I would've grabbed that one too! Yeah I've noticed too that prices have gone up at alot of thrift stores. When I thrift, which i love to do, I look for interesting baskets, creamers that have interesting curves, vintage hand mirrors and cute small lamps. I just love to browse, my favorite thing by myself. Loved your delicate lacey nightwear too. I enjoyed your haul. See you next time!

Danielle, first you look beautiful! The thrifting trip was so fun! And can we talk about the rolling pin, Bible and muffin tin 😍😍😍. Wonderful haul. I loved it all but those three were my faves. And yes, me too on the flipping over to find that famous stamp lol

Never have seen such a long handled sifter. Our family had that cheese slicer when I was growing up. Those wooden ducks were the first ducks I’ve seen that I would consider buying. My eyes almost popped out of my head when you said $30 for that shelf. I thought the candles were a good deal, too. You whipped those in your cart quickly! I liked the colander, too. I thought the hole design looked like trees.

Nicole, love all your finds. I have noticed the shops have gotten very expensive. The $30 shelf! WTH!!! You can buy a new one at HL for half that or less. BTW, the silver strainer is a vegetable steamer. It sits on a deep pot that has an inch of water for steam. Blessings, Veronica

It’s so weird for me to see so many people say that because in Australia (where I am) that is regular pricing. But having now watch a TON of US and Canadian thrifting videos I get the idea that prices are SO MUCH lower where you are. Lucky you!!

that colander goes in a big spaghetti pot that fits that colander. you just lift it out when spaghetti is done & it drains. i have the set & love it.

I collect rolling pins, crocks, and cookbooks. I only have a few modern cookbooks, my favorite are the vintage. I recently scored a cookbook circa late1800s early 1900s on wood burning stove cookery. The pictures alone are to die for but it’s just gorgeous

I guessed that you would bring home that small little tray and the rolling pin. That pot colander with handle, .....I would put a faux plant in it or use that in the garden with a plant, maybe line it with some kind of plastic dish drilled with a few holes to allow the water to drain. I am surprised you left the sewing basket behind.

You got some neat stuff that little mirror you got that you said you had two of them like with the cute little iron frame around it that's shaped really cute you said you wanted to make a wall with mirrors I got a bunch of little pictures with that same frame and a couple of beers like that too and I used to get them from thrift store all the time I sold a lot of them to a friend but I kept a lot of them for myself but I have that exact same little frame I have two or three mirrors like that and the rest of my little vintage looking ladies and little girls in the picture frames with the same frame they're vintage ones from Italy I think
