- I wanted to include my UA-cam community that gives me so much support as I start my journey with the ExoSym leg brace. I was scheduled to have my leg amputated at the end of the year, but hopefully with this device, I will be able to gain back my mobility without the chronic pain. So join me as I take this journey and hopefully I can help someone else out there that may be going through the same issues I am. If you are, I would love to hear from you!

I hope you’re still looking at these msgs... I have thought of you often (and prayed you didn’t have to amputate your leg) after “speaking” with you even though the financier said, “No,” to the class..So happy for you! Keep making the epoxy videos; I watch them over and over!

Well I just bawled my face off for 6 minutes. I'm SO happy for you!! I've been riding for 48 years. 30 years as a professional. I've also been a coach for the US Para Equestrian Team and have a lot of experience with world class riders with physical challenges. I hope your back in the saddle and if not, that you will be soon! Thank you so much! Yes I’m back to riding some but not to the level I was before (of course) I’m so darn competitive that I forgot how to just enjoy the ride! I’m learning to find my passion again!

My beautiful neice has a situation with one leg. Just graduated from A&M and managed walking that huge campus. She made need something like this in her future. I will keep the information you have given. Blessings!

Great choice the ExoSym, I hope it makes it pain free. Mom had to have her leg amputated and lived with phantom pains the rest of her life. So happy you found a better choice. Happy future horse riding.

I truly appreciate your candor and complete transparency in the the emotions you dealt with. I never heard of ExoSym but I'll look into this for my dad, who has been experiencing the same issues. If a limb can be saved for any possible reason, it's worth checking out. Thank you for putting this out there for those who want alternatives. ♥

You have climbed the mountain and you’ve killed it!!! You look fantastic and your Mobility looks great!! The soreness will go away as your body adapts. I believe you will be back on a horse because you are NOT a quitter. You got this!! Thanks for the update, you look fantastic!!!

Thank you so much for sharing this and for putting into words what I am feeling right now. I am in UK and about to receive bilateral Momentum braces, the UK equivalent of exosym. After 12 years on chronic pain and multiple surgeries I am hoping for a goid result- but also facing the fact that the braces are for life and that a 'cure' in the usual sense will not happen for me. It's a tricky one but I know I will get there but it,'s good to know it's not just me
Carol, I’ll for sure keep you in my thoughts and prayers that all will go well. Emotions are a tricky thing for sure. I’m happy to say, the Exosym has been a blessing and better than I expected. Hope all go well ❤️
@@RK3Designs thank you. I was fitted with my braces last Friday. So far so good. The difference they make is truly amazing. I've gone from being bed/chair bound without them to being able to walk like a human being, with absolutely minimal discomfort, quite literally the day they were fitted. I feel so priviledged to have them. Now I just need to build up wearing time, strengthen the other parts of me (after 12 years on crutches) and learn to negotiate stairs etc. All to come but a week in and it's feeling good. I hope your brace journey continues positive too.

Thank you for sharing! I currently wear an Carbon fiber AFO and am looking for others that have gone to the exosym. Did you wear anything else before that? I'm trying to learn how they are different and if it is worth for me to go the extra steps to make my way to Washington. I'd love to be able to exchange messages if you are willing!

How much did the exosym brace and rehab sessions cost? I’m seriously considering a flight to the US from Asia to get treated. I refuse to go for surgery.

Did you end up getting a device? What are you thinking now about your leg? I am in the same boat, I went today and given the pain I am ok with losing it.
Can anyone PLEASE tell me if this helps with "drop foot" due to MS?

Every condition is different for each person. I couldn’t tell you for sure if it would help but I know several that do have drop foot and they’ve had success with the Exosym. It definitely helped me to be able to stand longer and with less pain. Give them a call. Ryan and his team are amazing and very easy to talk to.

Yeah head games is right. Hanger Clinic lied to me and srung me along for weeks said my insurance covered the device then they told me I had to pay 9k. Totally horrible experience!
I’m sorry you had issues. I was told up front that my insurance wouldn’t cover my devise.
Does anyone have a talus fracture? Has anyone used this for this type injury?

I had a horse accident and over the years I’ve had 10 leg surgeries and two back surgeries. I’m doing good now though 😊😊😊
The cost they charge for these and not except insurance is just criminal. Once again the needy and poor have to either continue to suffer or go in debt the rest of their lives. I might be wrong but it seems like the device was invented using our tax dollars and you would think Our Country would want to help it's people, not rip them off.
