We need more funding for our Aircrafts and radar systems. Fundings like 10-15 billion every 5 year. And also we need to develop them fast. Although we are moving at a decent pace, we need to step it up in a huge way. Modi ji Please increase the DRDO fundings.

He talked about how engineers , scientists and students go to foreign countries from India and dont return.
My answer to that is, how will I come back to India ? There is no avenue or scope for me to apply using my foreign certificates.
I am a computer engineer. I would love to work on some projects with ADA for the AMCA but the hiring process needs to be different for us.
Indian university students seem to be favoured in these settings, nothing wrong with that, but we with our different training and syllabus cant really
get the scores you would want out of the competitive exams. And who will work so hard for some BS competitive exam when foreign countries are already
paying us in 1000s of dollars ?
If you really want Indian talent from abroad to come back and help India then get serious and create special on-boarding and interview programmes through which
we can come back to our country with that sense of safety that atleast we wont be jobless in India.

Jet engines are very very difficult to make, and I don't think we have the facility for mass production. But, surely in the next 100 years, we will have developed a indigenous jet engine.

Ex-servicemen 20 yrs completed as an airframe fitter, discharged on May 31 2014 age 49 yrs old, can apply as a fitter in HAL/DRDO. Sir ? Is there any refresh training programme/OJT ? I like such environment still. Pls do reply.

As many people might be thinking what it is taking so long to manifacture such things ,this video is quite explaining to that
doing something from scrach always take takes time despite that they have achieved such a feat that is marvelous!
Now as the manifacturing systems technology and ecosystem is there I expect it will take less time than this project
for complition as the experience from other project will help a lot and I expect sooner there will be a engine manifactiuring facility in colaboration with other countries .
Lets hope for the best.....
Historians have found needles in harrapan period. But we found out that Indian made fighter jet took more than 3 decades and current production rate is kess than 1 / year, they have already cum up with more than 3 next generation advanced variants.

That probe seems to offer unnecessary drag when not refueling

Recent article in print said since many parts in LCA come from different countries it will be hard to maintain the supply chain during war like Ukraine war. Critical parts for lca like engines, radar, ejection, missiles, etc comes from 🇬🇧 USA France 🇫🇷🇮🇱 Israel etc. So dont know how we can call it swadeshi except for the airframe. India should concentrate on dron tech and employ novel tactica to tackle China which is miles ahead than us
There is technology transfer agreements done and DRDO/ADA is doing the manufacturing of import substitution like uttam AESA radar.
Once the kaveri engine is ready we would habe achieved over 90% indigenous manufacturing.
You cant achieve 100 % self reliance all of a sudden. It takes time, sometimes years. Not only India even US imports parts. LCA Tejas is one step closer to the aim of achieving the aim. Have patience.
