Great images and lovely tonal range, but I still prefer to standardise my film choice right up to and including 4x5 so I'm sticking to HP5 and sometimes, FP4. This does limit the options, but I reckon it helps to keep it simple - especially at my venerable age. 😮

I tend to think similarly ... and of course Bergger Pancro 400 is available in 35mm, 120 rollfilm, 5x4 5x7 and 10x8. it's only 10 x8 I dont use format wise at the moment ... but as soon as I finish the 'build a 10x8 camera project ... that will change 🙂

Y'know what, it's been ages since I shot anything because I've been too busy with other projects. Then this popped up and I suddenly got the urge to dig out my trusty Mamiya c330 and load up a roll of Fomapan 100.
Going to make time over the next few days to capture some images, so thanks for the inspiration 😉

You're most welcome 🙂And next time you are shopping for developer, treat yourself to some Pyrocat HD ... it's quite addictive!

@@ashsphotolounge Cheers thanks. I might give Pyrocat a try going forward but only recently I've switched from Ilford to Rodinal which I've enjoyed using especially in stand development mode, so I'd like to get comfortable with using that first?
As you'd know using too many film stocks with too many developers can get a bit confusing.
Enjoying your down to earth videos.

@@thewildgoose7467 glad you are enjoying 🙂 I always have a bottle of Rodinal in the chemicals cupboard too ... super useful - especially as it keeps so long! A fun fact is that Pyrocat and Rodinal are both amongst the oldest developer formulas out there ... dating from well over 100 years ago.

Very nice! I I really liked the last photo of the tree, very nice tones. recently bought a couple of rolls of bergger pancro. Really liked the results of 120 rolls in HC110 but I might actually try Pyro for the 35mm to tame the grain. Thanks for the tip.

@@ashsphotolounge after my second roll of 120 in hc110 I think I will try this with a different developer next time. The grain is a bit too much in many shots. Might order some Pyro or try it with d76

@@GordonUppercut It's glorious with Pyrocat - just make sure to give it a pre wash to get rid of the anti halation layer ... and only use a water stop bath.

I don’t like Bergger Pancro 400 film stock. I tested one roll in Street Photography situation and it came out very grainy.

Depends very much on your developer. I agree it's very grainy in for example D76 or Rodinal ... and probably several others ... however with the correct developer it really shines. Testing one roll in one developer in one situation is not really a fair test of a film.
Of course the other thing is to play on the heavy grain structure with the 'wrong' developer - and go for some 'creative ' mood shots using contrast and grain.
