Today we are stepping outside of my comfort zone and going to a new thrift store! Carrie and I had seen some thrifting tiktok videos about and figured why not! I definitely had low expectations just because I figured it'd be super picked over and the clothing section is a lot smaller than some of the bigger ones I usually film in, but it totally shocked me with how many amazing pieces there were!

That flowered dress is an 80s gem. I wore a prom dress that was almost exactly that silhouette. So fun seeing those dresses getting some love again.

🤫Thrifters like you & Alexa are slowly changing my perspective on 2nd-hand shopping. Find cramped & crowded racks overwhelming😵💫. I also tend to 👁👁focus right in on the 🧟♀️zeroes👎 vs 🦸♀️heroes👍.
😮When you both shop similar territory in my own town, it's mind-blowing🤯 how you come out with all these charming pieces.
You both obviously have a talent for style, but for me it goes beyond that. Clearly, going in with a can-do positive outlook & a clear idea of what will work for you goes a long way to reaching your goals.
My negative attitude might my down fall😂. Will try to turn it around 🔁. Make a point to exhibit more hope & faith on future shopping 🛒expeditions. 🕊Blessings!

Living in England and hearing you guys are obsessed with M&S (short for Marks and Spencer) is so funny 😂 cause its mainly considered a "older people" shop but their vintage pieces are always gold thats for sure, best thrift finds are always vintage M&S 👌
It's the pink Jewish thrift store again (Beit T'shuva is in Hebrew)! I've watched other LA erea UA-camrs go there and I'm so glad you and Carrie went there as well, it looks awesome!
Loved the Reformation dress, it has such 60's vibes with the mini length and the mock neck. Also, the 80's dress is so amazing. I have an 80's skirt with a similar pattern that I love.

Omg that cat shirt, I'm a daycare teacher and I just dream of a vintage cat sweater. I've found many others, blue jays, sheep and pumpkins but I dream of a cute little cat sweater and the cat t-shirt just hits the spot! Plus I mean that flower dress.....is there anything better
I love going to smaller chain or independent thrift stores like that one! they always have more interesting stuff and usually better prices than like goodwill recently

The floral dress looks like an 80's Laura Ashley. If that's the case you got a DEAL because rn those pieces are going for 100 € minimum. They're almost collector pieces. I have two and they are extremely well done 😊
Was thinking the same thing. I think I reckognize those petal sleeves from other Lauras. I've just never seen that print before and usually Laura Ashley prints are quite iconic, so I am not 100% sure. But, even if it is from a different brand, it's a 100% cotton cottagecore 80s dream and worth way more than $38 for sure!

If you don't want to crop the kitty's tail, you can try making small vertical cuts on both sides of the shirt to help loosen the bottom!!
For body acne, the only thing that has worked for me is using the antibacterial dial bar soap in the shower and then I use Cerave SA cream. It comes in a tub.

Relatable on the chest acne! For years i didnt wear sleeveless tops because of shoulder, arm, and back acne. Then one day i said f it and just wore what I loved! Ive never regretted it!

i don't know if you've already cut the top. If you haven't I highly suggest you take a measuring tape and measure the same amount in several spots (at least front, back, the two sides, and then four spots in-between the previously marked ones) from the bottom of the shirt. Connect the dots AND THEN cut. If you don't have tailor's chalk you can use a colored pencil or a regular pencil as well. You can try to lay a top you like on top of the shirt and wing it, but the likeliness of it getting jagged in the back, or uneven at the sides, is high. Ask me how I know 😅

I'm wondering if the reason the prices are so all over the place is because different people rent different sections or booths in the store. You see that a lot in antique stores where some prices in one booth will be lower and others will be high. Just a thought. Also, I'm happy you got the kitty tee because I have the same one!
