I'm weirdly so proud of him? I knew he would do well at the Charleston and I really hope that he continues improving. Rooting for him all the way!
I like Chris’s personality absolute joy to watch this dance with the charleston! I give this a respectable 7️⃣!! 😀 xx
It was so fun to watch. It got better the more it went on, and I really did like it a lot by the end.
Fun routine. He looked like he was enjoying it too not up in front of a firing squad like some of them.
An amazing improvement! Well done Chris!
Love it, he did so well! And he was so happy with his scores, bless him! I'm rooting for him, I hope he keeps getting better and this isn't just a one-off, as the Charleston -being a comedic dance suits him.
Chris looks like he works at butlins! This was amazing though!
THATS MORE LIKE IT CHRIS!! I really really enjoyed this my dance and was one of my favourites of the night. I always knew that the Charleston was going to be one of his dances and think this dance will have saved him from danger this week. I’m still interested to see how he’ll do with a more slow tempo song in a ballroom style. But please for goodness sake close your mouth when your dancing 😆. 7/10
1:18 check out that swivel!
What an improvement on last week. I knew this would suit Chris. His swivel was actually very good. His cartwheel had bent legs though but well done for never doing it before. It was so quirky and fun and his hands were the right jazzy type for a Charleston. He got the mood just right. It did feel at times that Karen did the work but it was still good and very entertaining. I don't think he deserves more than Emma B though. His personality absolutely shone throughout this. Biggest improvement of the night. *6/10*
@Gold Rose I have to agree the fun factor was much better than the technique. That's why it was a 6. His swivels were good though. I gave him a 4 last week but the personality, cartwheels and swivel got it a 6 and also the improvement
My favourite pairing i still think this was undermarked
Great performance, good swivel action, lots of energy, this dance really suited him. Loved it :)
well done. I love Karen’s choreography !
What a revelation. He is the one who has improved the most from week 1! His swivels were almost perfect, his energy was fantastic, he was totally in sync with Karen and that was great. He should learn to finish his lines, when he does kicks, when he points his legs or hits lines with his arms, it could have been much, much cleaner. He also messed his last cartwheel. It was a vast improvement on last week, and if he continuous like that he can go far. Just needs some polishing. A 7.
Such an improvement! Loved this!
loved it good job chris and karen : )
Thx for putting scores up.
So good and entertaining performance and has improved from last week
A definite improvement. Very fun, very cheeky. Of course a comedian would gravitate towards the Charleston. He has improved on, but not exactly fixed his stiffness. Be more loose, bro! And I agree with Craig, he needs to exaggerate his moves more.
Alright,Craig?
Chris you are so just amazing I love this song to love it
Chris is so good in this type of dance. Im so enjoy watch them so funny and cute move. Good luck
Great job!! We are watching on UA-cam as in Australia, so dont get to watch live. A brilliant improvement on last week. Good on you!!
Always a classic dance haha
i'm digging this song!
Watching this dance, I imagine Chris and Karen stepping into a Beano. Colourful, crazy and cartoony! :)
Just so amazing I love it
Why on earth would you love Helen, Su and others getting out of their heads with Jolita at Costa? Why is Leah dancing with Nik? I thought it was rubbish, Doug Freya Michaelson. Bad taste and the cause of traffic accidents on the A14 to Hinchingbrooke. This kind of Malachi needs to stop!
love love love
Much better than last week (but then again it's a Charleston which is basically a free pass). I'm interested how he will do in the standard ballroom dance. Anyway, good for him. 6, maybe cheeky 7 for the first cartwheel.
Wow!
Only a 5 from Craig? What dance was HE watching? This was definitely deserving of 7s!
Chris finally found his dance 😁
I LOVE IT!
I just knew Chris would suit this dance and in terms of choreography Karen’s strength is in the Charleston imo.
It’s not perfect as it’s quite heavy in some areas but fantastic synchronicity and brilliant swivel.
Wow! Keep this up Chris!

Lexalexus what score did they get x
isla Gardiner 26, (5,7,7,7)👍
Are u a dancer?💃
Rory Kilcoyne best joke of the year 👍.
No sadly 🙃. But I’ve watched strictly for years where it becomes a point I know what should be done to deliver the perfect dance.
Plus I love sharing my opinion, I guess 😂
This was impressive. I couldn’t even do this dance since I have a hard time doing the swivel of that feet. He has improved from last week.
Wonderful acting and storytelling (I liked both the beginning, ,middle and ending), good swivel and like the judges I too loved the Lindy Hop references and 1930s style of Charleston. I do agree with Craig though- it needs even more explosive exaggeration and slapstick energy. His knees need loosening up to really give those kicks and hops some oomph and I find his hands quite often paralysed in motion while he is working other parts of the body. Never mind, multi tasking will come! 5.
Karen's hair looks great like that.
So much better than last week!
Just me whos still waching this a year on? Okay just me 😂😂
Go Chris go Chris go Chris it's a 7️⃣
He kept his rhythm From Last Week! Personally I prefered last weeks Cha Cha Cha, but This Was Fun And Comedic. If I had to say anything, It would probably be That He Should Smootin/Straightin his legs in order for a cleaner performance. But Fun To watch! 6
his ending though, i mean the body language says it all:
'boom. nailed the dance AND found a new way to flirt with my wife.'
also, isn't the dance move 'cutting shapes' just another term for swivelling?
13 to 26? Wow!
How me and my friends rated it-
Me- 6/10
Friend 1- 6/10
Friend 2- 6/10
Friend 3- 6/10
Total - 24/40
Keep your mouth shut Chris. Huge improvement from the cha cha. The footwork isn’t bad at all. The choreography is very cheeky which really fits him. There was also a great lift at the end and I didn’t know he could cartwheel. I’m going to give it a 7.5/10

Chris's strength is his personality, so I was waiting to see what he delivered for the Charleston. Overall it was done nice, but I was expecting more if I'm being honest. Even disregarding the technique for a second, I feel like that was a very high energy routine and he lost stamina almost immediately. Even with the slower tempo, Karen still put in a lot of moments for him the shine. That on top of the awkward lifts and footwork made me feel this was just dull and boring by the end unfortunately. (4)
Considering the other routines that got a 4 in the past, I don't think that this deserved a 4. His footwork was generally decent (but that's given the generally lax rules for Charleston) and I don't think the lifts were half bad. Yeah, the 2nd cartwheel was weird, but I thought the whole thing was okay.
I don't care for this non entity celebrity. His foxtrot was crap.
