i feel sadness for people who don't really enjoy music in the emotional sense. I'm not criticizing anybody, we are all wired differently. but i would hate life if i only looked for a beat you can dance to in the music i listen to. it just has a huge impact on so many people. it's an amazing art form, if you think about how it works.
I thought so too, until I met the most interesting person I've met til to this day, and she told me that it wasn't in listening to music that transported her faraway to emotional depths that couldn't otherwise be ever reached, but dance. I think for some people like myself, if someone asked me when and how i feel the most emotional, I'd easily say music. Others will have different answers, and it's really interesting when you both feel the same things through different mediums of art.

Especially those who can only listen to dance edm music, those people have a lot of unexpended energy and aren’t comfortable being by themselves. When I was younger me and my friends used to talk about how ‘trashy’ and ‘lame’ those people are, but maturing, I realized that most people are simply incomplete and it really isn’t their fault that they’re out of touch with a lot of elements in their lives.
@@seal6565 That's exactly how I feel too. For me(and probably you), music is not just something to do when I'm bored. It's more of a drug. And I find solace in music whatever mood I'm going through - happy, sad, angry,sleepy, stressed ... ; You name it ! I have a playlist for each one of them.
I love music like this but I also love losing myself in the music played at clubs because I can just dance where I won't get judged because everyone else is just having as much fun as you are
amy Mainstream party music are extremely trashy imo and made for degenerate souls who are overcompensating for the blandness of their lives and personalities. But I understand you there are a lot of sounds that plays with my different emotions, my taste in social music(bars, clubs) still leans pretty heavily towards the more stoic underground sounds(ie stuff like Petshop Boys, Project Pablo and DJ Boring).
rewatched this movie a few days ago. it means so much to me, reminds me to keeping pursuing, gives me a sense of familiarity, like home.

Jeesus Christ, for someone who went through the same thing recently, this struck a chord with me on the deepest level. Man, when you're going through this kind of shit, one might easily assume that something must be wrong with they because it is impossible to think of a love shared by two people that can't be translated into a stable and healthy relationship. @@ibrahimaditra41 I think I just was in a different period of my life where leaving everything behind and starting new, like running away to japan and working at a peach farm sounded like a dream. now my life is different, and I recently rewatched the movie and I have to agree with you. the ending is sad but like the song says "life keeps moving baby let's catch her" is very true.
