Angel Paper on Gel Polish - Application Tutorial

In this video tutorial, NailNovice shows you how to apply angel paper to gel polish.
STEPS:
1. Foundation layer. Cure. Dry Brush
2. 1st Colour coat. Cure.
3. 2nd Colour coat. Cure
4. Foundation Layer. Press angel paper into wet layer. Cure
5. Float Structure Gel to encapsulate. Cure
6. Top Coat. Cure

Thank u so much for this video. I tried to get these from my nail girlie but we couldnt get the paper to stay stuck on my nail! (We didn’t figure that out till we had done all 10 fingers haha ahh u live an learn haha ) but now i knw it was because it was stuck to the colour layer of gel. I just wanna make sure my thinking is right, that once u have done u normal base then 2 colour layers u do another gel base THEN put the paper on? ( im not wanting shards im wanting like a thick band of the paper down the middle of my nails. Does the paper size matter? Sorry for the long winded msg. But i need these nails haha an im Tryin to make it happen x

So you put the base coat over the soak off gel without problems? And then the gel you used to encapsulate, is it and can it be builder gel? My concern is if putting base coat and builder gel over a soak off gel will affect the durability of the nail. ( sorry for the long text😁 and thank you!)

Hi! It is the base coat from the same brand. No issues using this method. You can use it in this way, or also, with some brands that dont have much of a tacky layer to adhere loose glitter to, a thin cured layer of base will always provide stick. As base is your stickiest coat. In regards to encapsulation, it is the gelish structure gel. This is a soft, soak off gel from their gel polish line. (Not a hard gel) hope that clarifies 😊
