      I’m afraid it’s not so simple. There are people treated cruelty by parents and or caregivers and turn out different. He had the right mix of off-balance of chemicals and electrical synopsis of the brain. Environment merely played the role of lighting the fuse. Psychopaths is an unbalance of chemical and electrical impulses. But never underestimate loving and teaching children their self worth. And the worth of human life.

      It's not really a documentary. HBO knew he was making up stories and ignored the facts. Money took precedent and if Kuklinski wanted to say he was a hitman and worked for the mafia it didn't matter to them.

      Everybody who was in that life during that time knows kuklinski was full of it. He totally fabricated a majority of what he said. He thought he was Roy demeo in his own head. The biggest thing kuklinski ever did was this bs documentary. All these stories are pretty much fabricated. Most of these stories he came up with while he was in prison bcuz he had nothing but time to make up this bs. The cyanide story is bs he never did that. Go ask Sammy the bull the #2 guy under John gotti in the gambino crime family a guy who is responsible for 19 murders what he thinks of kuklinski. At 8:45 the interviewer asks “do any of these murders haunt you” and he responds with “nothing haunts me, no murders haunt me”. He said that because he knows it’s all bs

      @@dman7626 I have been following him since his arrest. I have watched and read the interviews and both books multiple times. 20 years ago I saw an interview with Detective Mccabe NYPD who stated the producers of the original HBO documentary contacted him and when he told them he investigated his claims and was able to debunk most they never called him back. So starting from the beginning so called journalists never did their job. Any of the three interviews he gave were based on his claims only, nobody fact checked them. In One of the interviews he claimed to be part of a hit squad with men who were in jail at the time. That was very easy to look up. The last book written about him by Philip Carlo had to have retractions printed after the first printing. I don't base anything off of mafia rats like Gravano and Franzese, my opinion was formed long before they showed up on UA-cam.
      He has told so many lies he couldn't keep them straight. He has described 3 seperate first murders. How is that possible? All his major mafia hits, Castellano, Galante and Demeo are all solved and he wasn't involved. I understand Wikipedia can be changed but look up Kuklinski. I believe it's the 6th or 7th reference listed that gives an article with FBI agent Smith that you can look up. He was one of the FBI agents who investigated him and believes that the very most he might have killed 10 people. He has stated Kuklinski ,once in prison would read old articles in magazines and when he came across and unsolved murder he would claim it. He claimed the Demeo hit, but the papers never listed that a chandelier was placed over his body in the trunk and Kuklinski couldn't tell him that fact. He also claimed killing three men in a van in Georgia who cut him off but authorities believe there were multiple shooters and he couldn't name the caliber used.
      The Darkness Underneath podcast on UA-cam does a great job methodically going through his claims with several videos containing hours of information. I found it about a year ago and I was impressed with the amount of research he did. He even has the video clip of Detective McCabe. Check it out if you like. I still go with 5 kills, never a hitman and he never worked for the mafia.✌️

      Something they don't cover in this documentary but a later one in 2022 ("Very Scary People" with Donnie Wahlberg) is Richard had a third brother who was beaten to death by their father when Richard was around seven or eight years old. The brother died in the hospital. When the police and doctors inquired of the death, Richard's father had threatened to murder the family if they snitched on him. So the story that was told to the police was some mysterious group of hoodlums ganged up on the kid, beat him to death for kicks, then took off into the sunset.

    This is by far the most incredible, fascinating and horrifying interview and documentary I have ever seen. His honesty is brutal. I don’t think we are used to seeing this kind of unhinged revelation of a killer’s mind without any attempt of minimizing the involvement, guilt and regret. Has he been studied by psychiatrist, psychologists to gain insight into his personality traits? Is he the psychopath and sociopath at the same time? Is this a case of naturally born to be evil or made to be a killer by the conditions of his upbringing? Of both?

      His claims about being a contract killer and working for the mafia have been debunked years ago. He killed 5 people, 3 to rip off and 2 to silence and none were mafia related.
      The Darkness Underneath podcast on UA-cam does a great job methodically going through his claims with several videos containing hours of information. He even has a video clip I saw 20 years ago with Detective Mccabe NYPD who stated the producers of the original HBO documentary (1991) contacted him and when he told them he investigated his claims and was able to debunk most they never called him back.✌️

To this day, he has no clue how he walked away from a man who seemed to kill without thought, on a whim and with zero regard, even if he knew the person he was going to kill. When Kuklinski died in prison, there seemed to be this final sigh of relief in knowing that there was no chance for him to kill again.

    • @RumbleFish69
      @RumbleFish69 Рік тому

      @JM-fy7vh I'm sorry, but I respectfully disagree. If you know anything about this man, it's that he would often kill on a whim. With no clear motivation. This man often said himself that there were many times that killed for no clear reason or to just try something new. My friend was never in debt to him, and as far as I know, he wasn't connected either. They had mutual friends and ran in similar circles, so they eventually became friends. My friend didn't know his wife or other close friends so he could have easily disappeared at any time, and no one would ever know or ask questions. It also seemed like the only people Kuklinski would never kill were people that his wife knew and close friends of his family. People who would be noticed if they went missing. According to the Kuklinski "MO" my friend was the ideal Iceman victim. Thankfully, it just never happened. Kuklinski was, in my opinion, a different breed of mob guy hit man. I think that he was basically a mob-connected serial killer.
