    Wow! I love this! I’ve been wanting to make a project pouch with a window so I can find things easier! The French seams are a great touch and the cube design will neatly stand on a bookshelf! Wonderful! ❤

    I'd never thought about using french seams on a boxed corner -- very nice!

    This is such a great pattern!! Thank you! I’ve made two already! Question: if the pouch is made bigger do the seam allowances stay the same?

    Newbie here. What keeps your pouch in shape, the vinyl or the WPC? If I wanted to make this with cotton quilting fabric, would I need to add stabilizers and if so, what weight would you suggest?

      The structure of the pouch is given by the WPC and the French seams. This pattern is not design for a woven cotton fabric and a "regular" interfacing would not work as the pouch has no lining. The solution I can think of is to use HeatnBond Iron-On Vinyl. You can interface the wrong side of woven fabric with the HeatnBond Iron-On Vinyl to make it water resistant and keep it from fraying. Here is a link to one. www.amazon.com/HeatnBond-Thermoweb-17-Inch-2-Yard-Iron/dp/B00114QDMI/ref=sr_1_4?crid=1MDVGTPLP1R8E&keywords=HeatnBond+Iron-On+Vinyl&qid=1654568517&s=arts-crafts&sprefix=heatnbond+iron-on+vinyl%2Carts-crafts%2C144&sr=1-4

    How heavy of a clear vinyl do you recommend?

    • @justynathandmade
      @justynathandmade  2 роки тому

      Not to heavy, there is a bit of turning in and out going on, so easier to work with more flexible medium.
