Oh, now i don't have to buy one, i think i have some of lock in the garden xd oh so good Bad Snacks, i go to play with that in the street, reminds me a little bit mndsgn hehe more street playing please Chad you know is the real life xd
Please consider coming out with a high F# model. I love the sound of your horns and the way they look, but the fact that they don't have the high F# key really turns me away from them. I use the high F# a lot and to me, playing on a horn without it is not the same as playing one with it.
@@Apheresis the high F♯ key is used for more than F♯6. For instance, it gives you an alternate fingering for E5 that responds to very subtle dynamics. In the other end, it is integral to some altissimo fingering that facilitate trills that would otherwise be impossible.
This is just fascinating! With all your expertise, could you make a guess as to why my high A has an ugly overtone? What can I adjust. Done this right out of the box, and been to two repair shops with no luck
@@ChadLefkowitzBrown ......... you've just made my ...... infinity; and beyond. So, with that out of the way..... you gonna test some and send me a doozie, so I don't have to send it back? I've been savin' for ages, as I told ya, and have saved up the lot now to payfor it outright. And, what do you think, in your heart of hearts, then? I'm all about the jazz these days and sheddin' my ass off, but gotta be able to funk hard and rock long, too. If I could get away with stylin' that silver beast, I would; but, am I giving anything up to do it, or gaining? You make it sound great, but that solid brass one you play at the end of "46 steps" sounds "phenom" as well. I'm ready to jump if I can get on the list, but really wanna make right choice.
@@ChadLefkowitzBrown just checking duties, charges, taxes, etc, and it looks like it could cost me up to an additional 30% of the total to get that over here. Heartbreaker. Seriously, how long would you let that initial price point be extended to allow me to save enough over the next month or two to book flights and an overnight in NYC to fly over, buy it, and fly back with it, getting around all this nonsense. It would actually be much cheaper for me, and is doable. Is this something you might seriously entertain?
This video is amazingly important for all the saxophone players
My guy 😆
I went to school with Jack!

Love this video Chad - I never knew about the increasing key heights thing. Makes perfect sense though. I gotta try a Nexus someday man. 😎
The website and the video talks about assembly and set-up. Where are the parts manufactured, especially the body?
Made by Chateau most likely, a high quality Taiwanese factory
That adjustment stand looks like a really good invention for repair.
nice horn, but where did it get produced? China? Taiwan?
Nice toilets ;)
Do you plan to make an alto?

That losing "thump" at 14:00'ish is muy bueno! 🎉
Can’t wait for mine to show up!!
UK, Inverness, Scotland?
Oh, and don't worry about a high F# key on mine (or, middle F#, as I call it), as I don't use 'em. 🌟
Please?
Hi Barry, Nexus ships internationally so you’re welcome to order! :)
