This was the trailer that made me buy the game, brings back alot of memories from middle school watching this 💜

I remember this trailer in 2011 watching it with my friends,we were really surprised ,was still in primary school,also brings a lot of memories too.
Its still my favorite nfs game,too bad it was short and unfinished in some areas and its sad that EA fucked Black Box,The Run was their last game.We could just imagine what The Run 2 would look like...
And the disappointed gameplay experience after that, Really poorly developed in the final version

If there are a couple of things I have to give this game credit for its the scale the vehicles (I love how big they are) and the sound design.
The world design is also really excellent. Everything else was meh at best.
30fps lock and the vehicle butt camera where really bad. I heard nintendo DS had a better story as well
but the concept was there! It could have been a great game!
In the final version, the cop lights are disabled, and after the first cutscene the cruiser automatically gets damaged, and the shots don't appear in the body
In this e3 version, lights are activated, the cruiser isn't damaged and gunshots appear exactly where the chopper hits
I wonder why EA/BB changed this
I remember the first need for speed. Was sooo fun. This looks pretty good still

@atomdragon4 Wrong. This is revolutionary totally different experiences, they are using the Frostbite 2.0 engine from Battlefield 3. This is a whole new experience unlike any racing game ever done before.
even though its not online gameplay its still pretty awesome.

I love the fact how the police scream "Where's he going!?!?!?" When the place is lit up with arrows for where he is meant to go..... fail -.-

@jonny2k100 Because this is a pre alpha build made for E3 2011. They still have a lot of time and work to do since it's only coming out in 2012.

This has the same screen filter as Battlefield 3. Look at the water spots on the bottom when light shines on you.
@dj52100 I know, it's just that I didn't know the screen filter (texture) was actually part of the engine.

So I had this crazy day at work today. A chopper was firing at me with a machine for about 3 minutes. I crashed into dozens of cars and ended up flinging my car off a bridge after being hit by a rolling truck. I of course fell directly in the middle of a train track just as a train was approaching at full speed. I'm alright though, just a minor scratch on my head.
Whatever this is, this is not Need for Speed.

@lleroux698 Need for Speed is an arcade racer at heart bro. You're looking at the wrong franchise if you want a good realistic racing sim, and yes I'm aware of Need for Speed Shift's existence.

@gaby232323 Medal of Honor didn't use Frostbite 2. It used Unreal Engine 3 for the Singleplayer and Frostbite 1.5 for the MP.

@concernedagain well, atleast there's free roam n cop chasing is back, i dont really like pursuit that much(no free roam, no customization...etc) but i respect ur choice of games.
@CRMXL Also, the first one I played was Hot Pursuit 2, followed by Most Wanted, Carbon and Hot Pursuit 3. Honestly? I liked Most Wanted the best. Make of that what you will.
@krnt13 This is the online gameplay, read the title? I know you're probably thinking this doesn't seem like online but you know, people could be playing as cops in the helicopter or something or maybe the cutscenes and stuff happen at the same sorta time for different people idk.
Most wanted was one of the best NFS games though, that and NFS U2

Looks interesting, but the Par Cor building jumps are insanely looney. He would break his legs. Plus, the car would easily outrun the copter and make it way more difficult to get so many hits on the vehicle. Also, unless the squad car is heavily armored against bullet strikes, those hits would easily rips the driver to the shreds.

@VtecY000 im with you. You know what? Instead of making a new game, I'd prefer a bundle collection remastered in HD and with trophy support including NFSU, NFSU2 and Most Wanted. Eh well, they might never make a NFSU3 unfortunately, maybe cause the community expectation are high, but still im gonna get the RUN cause it is much better than HP (never bought it) and Shift (never bought it either).

ahh the good ol' days of hot pursuit 1.... then hot pursuit 2... then underground 1 and 2... then it went to shits
Also the details on the cars seems more like that of a ps2 than ps3!!!

if the whole game has those quick time evvents and they get the control of the cars down then this has the making to be a pretty good game it may even overtake most wantd.....

@Stinkymustashes carbon wasnt that bad actually... most wanted i think personally was shit... it just didnt have the rush you would get from the other ones i mentioned... i mean go back to when you would be traveling at 340kph and then trying to squeeze through traffic and a concrete barrier

@VtecY000 It;s a game. Dont get me wrong, im not a great supporter of the RUN. But with that thinking, then: In Assasins Creed you die after being hit twice, in Dead Space you die after being bitten by one of the Necromorphs, in DiRT3 if you crash, you abandon the race and you dont flashback, in FPS games you die if you get hit twice. See? You cant expect things to be like in real life....especially from EA. And im not even going to include GTA haha ;)
everyone bitching about this game and most of them will buy it. I know that EA, are blind, cant see what gamers want UNDERGROUND 3, but this one seems a movie, and thats cool. I will enjoy it for sure, but its not my priority. EA open your EYES.
@CRMXL what about most wanted? i aggree thay became rubbish after that, but ive been playin nfs since i was 3 and i fist played nfs porche 2000 i enjoyed that :D
