The client didn't get it looked at so I was balancing maintaining oil pressure and revving an engine which hadn't been run for so long. I'll add the the cambox had been opened-up and lubricated prior to starting it up. Cheers.

Wrong! It's a Norton Manx. I have a 1963 Norton Manx 30M (500cc) which I've had for 40 years. I have documentation of my bike including build schedule, parts lists, and correspondence from the Norton factory and it's always listed as a Norton Manx. You don't know what you're talking about.
@Robert Ryerson How one calls a bike is up to the individual. A Dominator is full Norton Dominator. Manx is full Norton Manx. Never heard say Dominator Norton. Just Dominator or lovingly Domi. So why Manx Norton? It is also Norton Electra and Norton ES 2. Excelsior Manxman. Triumph Daytona. Ferrari Daytona. Ferrari Dino. Fiat Dino.

40M = 350cc, 30M = 500cc.
