Great points Matt . Loved it. Also I realised when I started investing time studying to improve my domain knowledge and a bit of history of the marine insurance industry in the UK. it made me more interested in working with the data since it made much more sense in terms of real world and the overall understanding of the business.
I think skill application and domain knowledge can work in tandem. Working with data of a particular industry, say marketing, helps you put skills into practice and learn about the data at the same time.
Thank you

That's awesome! Developing a genuine interest in the data is another great benefit of studying a particular domain.

How to balance learning technical skills and domain knowledge?

can you recommend which domain has highest hiring?
