At 9:58, this reminds me of a time when I briefly owned the internet. I was playing Mechwarrior Online and one of the players on the enemy team was typing smack into the all-chat. It was trash like "Yer mom's a dirty grl" and "I know cuz I taught her to be a dirty grl". Having had a moment of true inspiration, I typed into the all-chat "Shut up! Dad, you're embarrassing me". Play briefly stopped as everyone had to stop laughing. The trash talker typed nothing else into the all-chat.
And then all of the Mechs applauded

5:50 this. THIS. Our family pretty much has only had a Wii to play on till about two years ago. So my entire childhood, while everyone is talking about these amazing games, I just missed several years worth of experience for more Smash bros. Brawl. Didn't help because we got the Boys Life magazine (isn't THAT a callback) which had the games of the month in the back-ish. The year I got my switch finally, my mom told me I could get a switch (with my own money, was planning on buying a lite as they were cheaper and I didn't get allowance) if I was good for a month. I do so, basically am good for a whole month, and my mom at the end of the month basically says "nah". I didn't get a switch lite till even later that year when I was very upset about something similar to that (I don't remember now) so I did something I always did and walked to the street corner and just sat down. After maybe ten minutes my mom comes out and sits down next to me, and finally agrees to let me buy the switch lite. The street corner wasn't in front of our house, we lived in a cul-de-sac and our house was on the right side of the loop going in.
