I just got the email today from PicTime and I was going to set some time out this weekend to take a look and play around with this. But now seeing your video, I'm going to dive right in today to make use of this. This isn't the most glamorous of vids (not a negative, but because I know everyone loves the full wedding BTS vids as do I), but it was super informational and actually fits my workflow 100%. Extremely. I love using your natural feels presets. I just did an engagement shoot and used that preset and just adjusted it a bit to the clients liking.
My only concern at the moment is seo, as to google the site will only have one photo embedded it’s the feature image. As all these shots are hosted on Pic-Time. So time will tell if the seo is as good via Pic-Time as it is locally hosted with alt tags etc.
Ohh that video feature is clutch. I use Narrative publish right now and normally just go screen record myself going through the blog post but that's always a bit jittery. Thanks for the overview!

Stick with posting on with Wordpress or embed A Pic Time Blog? No way to use Yoast on this to check your SEO. Just looks cosmetically pleasing. Would like to see if a Pic Time blog can get to the front page of Google.
seems very convenient and useful, but the big trade off is becoming dependent on pic time if you ever decide to switch services down the road or if for some reason pic time gets ran over by a competitor in the next few years, your blog posts can potentially seize to exist. Better to host them locally imo.

But Google will recognize the text I put in code form on my blogpost? I don't have the option, 'show view gallery button, how did you get it? My worry seo wise is that google will only see one feature image on the post. As the photos are hosted elsewhere but time will tell how well this feature works with seo
If someone clicks on a blog post that is on your website, would that give your website better google-scores because they spend time on your website? Or does it link to pic-times website and steer traffic off your page?

If you don’t feel there’s a reason to switch than there isn’t one. However Pic-Time helps with delivering your images to your couples and also marketing your photos for the easy sale of prints. That’s the MAIN reason to use it.
For some reason, on my squarespace website when editing it properly shows the gallery blog post, but it doesn't show the gallery when out of editor when visiting (when logged out), It only shows the gallery when i refresh the page on the website. Even in other devices, Odd behavior, how to fix?

You need to have the advanced tier with PICTIME. Not the basic blog account. Basic blog will not let you embed this. Advanced account will.
