Love to all.
Damn that Bluegrass Goose is magnificent! Unbelievable power and brilliant tone.
Now, if I could just learn to play like JP. 🥴
Robin is a true gentleman!
Just wow. The look on Robin's face as you are playing that last tune says it all. Thanks so much for this.
I loved that... Too cool
I find myself grinning and laughing every time I see a master at their craft. It creates a joy that's difficult to express. And those guitars..my oh my, those are truly fine instruments. Someone is going to be very lucky.
Love it! Owning a Boucher guitar is on my Bucket List.
Robin is one of the nicest humans on the plant, it was absolutely fantastic to get to geek out about guitars with him at Citadel Music last Thursday night. Thank you again JP for opening my eyes and ears up to the world of Bouchers.👍
@JP_Cormier. Hey, looking forward to your show with Dave at the Carlton this coming Thursday night. Hope the prize is a BG-52😂😂. Just kidding, do you need my address to send it?
As I've said the two Kings of Acoustics!
Very cool! It's always good to see Robin.
👋😎👍holy moly the volume on that new first one!! 👀AND then the 2nd!! 👀 good lord the presence and boom!! 👀
Wow!! and how about Robins face when J.p spanked out the licks lol
I keep coming back to this video. Just a treat to watch these great people play great guitars. I cannot wait to receive my Boucher and use it on my channel.
Really looking forward to getting my BG-52 G. Took a fair bit of work to find a place that would ship one to me in Australia. Hopefully should arrive over the next month or so, but it feels like a long time coming.
I'm also kind of interested in the Richard Bennet for a mahogany Boucher. I'm very keen on the torrefaction because I think the humidity here probably slows down the ageing process quite a lot, and I hope torrefaction also makes the guitar less susceptible to changes in humidity.
Just bought a Boucher Studio Goose Bubinga Dreadnaught - played it yesterday, pick it up tomorrow.. wow!
Hey hey JP
Del
This video makes me a proud owner of a Boucher guitar. To see the love that’s bled into these very fine guitars is rare in this day and age. Thank you all.
Thyanks so Much, Cam!
Would it be right too assume that the blue grass model being louder would suit finger style players who dont use a thumb pick ?
Incroyable ! One day I hope to be able to afford a boucher , I played one at a musique store in quebec , it was unbielivable , its like you are physicaly one with the instrument, and to see Mr. Boucher see his masterpiece come alive in your talented hands... it shows in his face... ive done good, cheers
Just ‘wow.’ That was a great episode! Great to see Robin and Guillome on there, for sure! Such great guitars!
Very cool! Robin is a master luthier for sure. Please consider featuring your old buddy Otis Tomas for us Fiddlers in the future.
Along String Theory this week and now an upclose look at those magnificent instruments...made my week..
I can see why there is such a cool bond between JP, Robin, and the Boucher family. They have too much fun and I love watching Robin when JP plays. Priceless and I get it! Really good video and I need to get one soon!
Impressive, the guitars and JP's playing. Thanks, you've left us drooling for a new guitar!
Magnificent sounding guitars without question
Sure I would like very much to talk with you
@JP_Cormier. sure I would like very much to talk with you
I have other lovely guitars, but my Boucher BG-52 is the go-to. Aside from it sounding great, it also has the best intonation and tuning stability, even in adverse conditions. Thanks to JP and Robin for making life a little bit better.
@JP_Cormier. Thanks again!
How is the bottom end? I’m looking at that same model.
@@gettindrunker The bottom end is present and well-balanced, never too boomy.
@@gettindrunker It's got a tight bottom end, present but not boomy,.
JP, Following your promotion of Boucher guitars, 2 months ago my girlfriend and I went up to G&G Music and bought a SG21 Studio Goose and a BG52 Bluegrass Goose. I hardly played them at Glens shop. Your promotion was all I needed to hear. Since then, they get played every night for hours. Easy relationship maintenance.
Over the past 20 years I planned summer vacations around canoeing, you and Matt Anderson. That tradition still forms the backbone of our summer schedule. This summer we'll be busking every festival campground with our new Boucher acoustics. Thank you all.
I now know the difference between the SG and BG, now I want to obtain and play a Boucher SG, thank JP and Robin for the insite.
I am so pumped to get my studio goose
These guitars are works of art
That sg52v is stunning
What amazing guitars.
I played a bg-152 torrified top last summer at the twelfth fret in Toronto. They had collings , santa cruz, bourgeois. And the bg-152 came out on top. In my opinion. It blew my mind. I couldn’t stop laughing. It’s was similar in sound too my 2017 standard bg-52. But just bigger. Mine is a canon. That one ,,, i can’t find a word for it at the moment lol. 👍👍👍
Looking forward to getting one. Thanks
It’s so evident when you hear Robin speak about Boucher guitars that this is his life’s passion that comes right from his heart. Such an awesome video JP your an amazing Ambassador for Boucher guitars. The Bluegrass Goose is definitely on my musical bucket list. Also, Guillaume Marketing was top notch. Thanks again JP for an wonderful video. Hope to catch you live one day…
The new ones, amazing evolutions, incredible instruments 💜 Awesome video. Many Thanks.
Just got my BG-52 two wks ago. Love it! It sounded better out of the case than my D28 Authentic does after 2.5 years.
I didn’t even know I was subscribed to you 😂
Beautiful sounding geese. Love it. Thank you
Thank you very much for introducing me to Boucher guitars. I bought a Studio Goose 4 years ago and love it. Everyone that plays it is astounded by how good it sounds and plays. IMO, they are the best in the world. I was in a guitar store in North Carolina last week and I played a $8000 Marlin guitar. I told him that it sounded good, but didn’t compare to my Boucher. He got a little upset. 👍
Catching up on another one of your videos, by far the best with Robin and one of the crew members at Boucher Guitars 🎸 the smile on Robin's face while you were playing tells it all, there is something magical about these guitars, Robin puts his heart into every guitar they build and it shows, a true master of guitar craftsmanship, thanks for sharing these beautiful guitars and excellent picking.
Wow. The ROCKET BOOMS 💥 👌
Wow love to have one of his guitars one day! Always hear great comments on his instruments. Both guitars sound awesome great tone.
I really want to play a Boucher now! I have for a few years but all 4 of those acoustics sound incredible!
Would love to get one..
Wow thanks for the knowledge!!!! It confirms what I though they differences were. Studio and the Bluegrass are basically used for the same way I use my J45 and my D35. Just the Boucher's sound better hehehe!!!
MAGIC
That little mixing board. Is that new? Guitars are awesome, by the way. Best in the world.
OMG. I LOVE BOO BOO. 💜
This exact Bluegrass Goose is available for purchase at Citadel Music in Halifax!
I want one of those guitars so bad it hurts.
Amazing, I thought you were going to play classical gas!
JP I own a 2010 Walnut Goose Studio WT-1094-D. Could you ask Robin why he stopped making the Walnut series? It has an incredible sound. thank you.
This is the only guitar with just lab top speakers you hear a differences I cant imagine how it sounds live.
Hi JP, Hi Robin! These guitars are amazing…just dream to give them a try! I’m from Italy and I believe that it is quite challenging to find a Boucher dealer here…anyway I’ll be some weeks in BC next summer (Vancouver/Vancouver Island)…any chance to find a dealer there? Thank you for any information or suggestion! Congrats JP for your music, I remember you playing in my small town (Oleggio) in 2019 with Beppe Gambetta! And congrats Robin for these masterpieces 👍🏻 Luca
Forgive my ignorance, what is the tune played ~15:08? Cheers.
sweet
Men who love what they do. Take note kids when looking for a career.
That BG sounds huge and resonant.. what medium strings and type were used here?
best t shirt
Anyone knows the name of the last tune around 27.20?
Jean Paul, did you ever live in Welland? If so, you were the first guy to try to teach me scales back in 1980.
@JP_Cormier. Cool Thanks.
If I ever make it back to Acadia, to show my wife and son significant locations to our family's (and Canada's) history, I'll drop in to pick it up.
In keeping with the season,... Is it a "Major Award?
If so, I have ample supplies of adhesives...
Btw, Joyeux Noel cousin.
J P. How much would you charge for a seat in your home or somewhere in your town or in Robin's workshop or town to have a ringside seat to hear, look, and talk with you guys?
The studio goose did come out particularly nice on the mic. But not the same projection. Amazing guitar maker. Leaves modern Martin's in the dust....
J P, What is a “Hand Made Guitar” ?
Curious, is there a reason you have no reviews of the Godin Seagull guitars? Your neighbors?
PARKOUR!!! BAHAHAHAHAHA
Would it be right too assume that the blue grass model being louder would suit finger style players who dont use a thumb pick ?
Tougher on the fingers, I’d recommend the hg series from Boucher or any 12 fret ooo/classical guitar
Oh!!! someone seen my comment!!! :)
Где купить эти гитары
Hey guys! Robin JP, I’m here, I’m in the market , I’m focused on what you fellas are saying , I’m vitiubg a local dealer of high end acoustics , & I’m leaning towards the luthier built acoustic, there’s borgouise , a Santa Cruz and a Gallagher doc Watson signature on the table no bouchier , but I’m fairly happy, London england
If there was a Boucher , I’d be very excited

"Parkour" had me ROFL! Anyone interested in buying a kidney so I can buy me a Rocket of my own?
Studio goose is it.
They're so shiny ✨️
