  • For the last 7 years, I’ve juggled at least 3 businesses at any given time.
I always thought that if I diversify my income, I would really limit my downside and having multiple businesses was the best way to do that.
But the reality is having multiple businesses will break you.
Let me give you a quick backstory as to why and then I’ll share the solution that I’m working on for myself.

Focus on ONE THING, and make it really good.

Another very helpful video. I too have felt the strain of letting myself be pulled in too many directions. And yes, I do that within my video production company as well. Thank you for sharing your story and valuing this enough to share.

I’m there too. With too much and not enough delegation. Read the ‘e-myth revisited’ if you haven’t.

Starting my video production with my best friend at 19 years old. We both did freelance for a year. Any tips on things we should focus on to grow the company in the beginning?

Will your course show some quickbook tips like how to manage salary and over head after project is done? I know you showed how to do project costing on quickbooks and calculate the profit margin . Just looking for beyond that salary-w-2 s-corp salary and overhead like rent, then the after tax income to that comes back to after my dividend is taxes.

No I don’t really dive into Quickbooks. Hiring a bookkeeping service is far more affordable these days than taking the time to learn it. My course focuses more on creating offer, value stack, and marketing

@Filmmakingmentor the cheapest I found is Powerbooks at $99 and they don't do much project costing. Will probably have to work with my local accountant for the info. Thank you though.
