Watched this video. Very nicely done. I hope you are ok, you sounded like you were congested. I’m so sorry for the passing of your friend’s husband. I’m sure she will be touched by your beautiful angel wings, your compassion and your support at this challenging time. Very beautiful wings.
Thanks for watching, Terry. Yes, I was a bit congested when I filmed this. I may try to re-do it at a later date. However, it is my most-watched tutorial! I just hope that learning to create this particular wreath brings as much joy to the viewer as it has to me. I thoroughly enjoy making these “Wings” and seeing how they bring a smile to those suffering from a loss. I consider it a ministry…❤️
Could I offer this suggestion as it’s what I do: I spray paint my heart frame either white or silver. I use the iridescent white mesh and do not want to see the frame. You did a lovely job!
Thank you. You are the first person to say turn mesh in different directions. I made my first angel wings yesterday and was so unhappy that one side was showing the unfinished edge. Ended up cutting more mesh and doing just what you have shown. Beautiful.
I’m absolutely thrilled I was able to help you succeed at this! Congratulations! You’ll improve with each wreath you design so keep it up! Best wishes to you!!😊
I actually cut a piece of foam board from Dollar Tree to fit the back of the completed wreath. I just carefully zip tie it on. Lately I’ve also been hot gluing fabric to the foam for additional strength, weather resistance and overall appearance.
Thank you for making this video. Your instructions are so easy to follow. Now I can try to tackle and make some. Love the idea of the heart wreath others had carrots, canes, then you had to cut them all down…Lots of work! Hope Tammy’s grandson is doing better. Thanks to Tammy for giving you permission to make the video. So helpful. God Bless 🩷🙏🏼 What’s a reasonable price?
Oh goodness Laura, thank you sooo much for a nice, easy to follow tutorial! I watched a couple times then made mine along with you. I've got all my feathers on and they look pretty good (I need to order a better quality mesh) for a first try. So excited to make more. Thanks again for making it easy to understand.
So happy I could help! I’m a teacher at heart & by profession so having you understand and create your own Wings by my teaching is extremely rewarding. Thank you for letting me know, and many blessings to you and your creative endeavors.❤️
Yes, thank you and Tammy for sharing this video they really are a unique design and so beautiful and a blessing from God . I pray for her grandson that he will be healthy and well in Jesus name 🙏🏽
Very precise. I am brand new to wreath making and thought you were very easy to follow. Thank you for sharing this. I'm going to give it a go! Pending join the group. also.
So glad you enjoyed it! And DO think about joining the group…we’re all in this thing together! Encouragement and instructions within our group really help!
Each designer is different, of course, but I sell mine for $65 + tax & shipping. There have been exceptions based on the buyers situation & my relationship to them however. I’ve got a soft heart!❤️
I don’t have a visual of the placement of the petals. However, that sounds like a good idea! I DO have a number chart. If you will connect with me via email I would be happy to share it with you. 💕
Is one style of the fold called a Ruth or Bubba? I know you said you weren't sure but I'm thinking that's what they are called. Love the material of this mesh!
I know. I’m extremely new to this & don’t own any equipment. My phone is placed in a holder on the side of my table & it’s difficult to demonstrate and watch what’s on the screen at the same time. I’m hoping next time will be better.❤️

I’ve never thought of it that way, but it really is a ministry. Comforting those in pain is a special gift and a true calling.
I like to think I’m helping ease their pain in some small way.

What did the back look like when finished. Excellent directions.

Beautiful! Would love to know where you got the beautiful mesh with the white borders, the clips and small zip ties 😊
I purchase my mesh at CRAFT OUTLET or TRENDY TREE. The clips are from the DOLLAR TREE and small zip ties on AMAZON.
