Just starting with drifting in AC. Trying to do controlled donuts around columns with Miata ND - darn hard: have to keep in 1st and use hand-brake to lose grip. Snaps too easily and spins. I see you can keep it in 2nd, but I guess this is on high speeds. I also see you almost never force counter steer - just letting the wheel do the job. Do more Miata ND drifts! :)
that is a great way to learn welcome to the world of sim racing the miata is a tricky car to learn drifting with. if you use a drift spec car it will have more steering angle to work with and will be more tuned for drifting but enjoy the journey it takes time
@@Matteo2 so, do you actually use the handbrake, say in low speeds? :) Or should I stick to clutch kicks? It feels like the sim miata has a bit less torque than the actual ND in 2nd gear (PS very fun car to drive - I have one :D )
@@ArtML i would love to own a miata irl that is cool man i do use hand brake mainly for the initiation but i do not have a physical handbrake only a button for a handbrake but i do use the handbrake there is nothing wrong with handbrake its a great tool
love the reverse entry at 2:30
Miata is always the answer. 🤩
