I remember when i used to play tetris friends in Facebook, i was at the top position in every single mode with my friends, but alex always kicked my ass. I though it was a bot because he was insane! Now I realize it was a real person........maaaan! I cant believe there are people playing like this.
it happened in the next round against zzyzxz . sleepgate happened to alex. sleep timer came on and obscured his view of the game screen for a few lines.
Hes a great player,only thing hes gotta work on is his tendency to give up late in game when he misdrops near the top,and his over committing to single and doubles after 19, but when he plays at his peak best and he can still get better hes a top 5-6 world player no question, hes good kid and a heck of a elite player,hope to see him back in the top 4 in 2019.

He explained in one of his streams once that blocking the well and building on top of it is better in the long run for burning and your stack rather than setting up difficult tucks and over hangs. Plus it becomes better for your score to burn more lines at a time rather than just the one. The piece set made it really difficult for Alex to execute it in that first round.
TRSN - refers to the score each player had when they are at the level 19 transition! TRT - percentage of lines cleared by a tetris PPLN - average points scored per line clear.
They are playing with the same drops so a win indicates which player has used the pieces better to score more points. You could say the same for a lot of competitions. Take athletics, the runner in lane one doesn't affect the runner in lane two, but them doing it at the same time shows who is faster.
If i were a Tetris player I would get a Tetris and ONLY a Tetris, then top out. When someone asks me why I always top out so early, I say that I have an average 100% Tetris rate.
