I stumbled on this . This helps to crack down the issues that I was stuck in diamond 1/plat 5 for a while Thanks a lot for your thoughts. I will check out your next uploads
I was so hooked, when the questions ended I was like "wait that's it?" I didn't even keep track of time. I'll definitely keep coming back to this episode during times of doubt. Gave me a lot to think about
I respect that you take time out of your life to teach us what you can about the game and how to improve both inside and out of it. Super thankful for all your hard work.
Chris T watching your podcast episodes and hearing how your growing in God makes me respect you highly. An definitely put you at the top of my list as my favorite pro player. Much love ❤
Hi chris. Id like you to talk about how important eating and drinking healthy, exercise and sleep is to a pro player. Also on and off days what to do when you're not feeling 100% . And where does your inspiration and determination come from to go through the hard work and drudgery to carve and mold your skills the way you aspire them to be.
👏👏 Chris really diving deep. I like this answering questions segment. It answer sooo many things that I am learning about myself. I look forward to more episodes like this. Being a student still I have a question myself. Let’s talk about the importance of patience, I been out of fighting games since day 1 release of SF4. How can I find the patience to get back to top level( competitively) being away so long? Yes literally played no fighters went to shooters forever till SF6
Most of my improvement has come from keeping my composure, simply from realizing that all pro players make mistakes. Every pro makes a bad jump and gets anti aired, every pro parries wrong and gets punish counter thrown, every pro has an OD reversal get blocked Its how you bounce back from the big blunders and learn from them
Now this is the good stuff! 👍 so often have i seen " you have to do this this and that, get better here and there " However im the kind of person that really needs to understand the mindset of doing these things to fully use them. A drill helps, but learning the high level mindset of what im looking for and why can mean the difference between plataeuing with good skills and being capable of using these skills to properly analyze an opponent and break them down. Or maybe im just dumb lol Thanks allot, i think ill be able to pay attention better in ranked 😂 I do lack discipline aswell, just gotta try harder every day. Thanks allot, and i appreciate the effort you are putting in. This content is awesome.
very general question. First I have been following you for years and watching your Ken evolve. I like how you embody the fighting spirit! 💪 If you are a true ken main in my opinion you should be using every character in the lab against ken. Do you feel you must master every character? In order to master your own?
Really appreciate that insight of “ what if it does work out”. Sometimes my anxiety gets in my way, it becomes debilitatingly scary to do some things bc what if everything goes monstrously wrong. But adding that little rebuttal “what if it does work out” , it might take a long time/ a lot of practice, I will have a tool to fight back those thoughts and accomplish some of the goals I want to have
Wanted to say that Im grateful for so many that are helping others regardless of where they are on their journey. Im a beginner to fgs as a whole but this all is still super helpful and eye opening❤❤❤
I had no idea how helpful this video would be… thank you🙏🏽 I use to just watch my opponent Now I study my opponent and create a counter strategy.. I’m only ultra bronze sfv Ken player lol And it feels like I’m playing a different game now 🎥🙏🏽
Besides the good fighting game content , Definitely have the voice down. A good Chilled relaxed podcast voice kinda vibe, also very clear, doesn't even need music.
I remember the first time I saw you Chris. You had a conversation with Daigo about improving in & understanding SFV. Even back then I could feel the intense drive you had to learn and grow. I'm not surprised you went down this path of content creation. I enjoy this no nonsense down to brass tax style you employ.
Dam the mental composure is real coz I do be cracking and fall into the trap thinking that ive been defeated before the set is done and panic but the fire I feel for fighting games is what makes the losses worth it coz I need to be put in a blender sometimes in order to come out better and keep fighting✊
Hi Chris T. I would like to answer the first question. it usually has to do with what you focus on all day long. If you have children and a wife and work or school, you no longer have a clear view of fighting games. It is harsh, but it is reality
Hej Chris, could you give some tips on how to rise above the pressure? I feel like this is holding me back big time, i'm currently playing battlehub alot to play much higher ranked players and very often i drop combos that i usually do with ease, i've had multiple rounds where i was realizing that if i use this one opening it could win me the game but then i drop super simple combos and lose a round i had in my pocket allready.
Don’t focus on the number , focus on the areas of improvement, the number comes when you make the necessary adjustments to how you’re losing. Pay attention to THAT, not the MR… TONS of replay analysis & application of how you can fix mistakes and areas where you’re killing yourself etc . MR is irrelevant my bro, but it’s a good indication of consistency for sure. Do the work & the MR will come !
@@christatarian2504 I appreciate the care you take into your work and I've been loving these videos. It's great that we get the option to customize the listening experience to what fits best 😊 Thank you for what you do!
What if I’m bad at solving puzzles…can I still be good… I noticed this in boxing. Canelo is so good but when stuff goes wrong he struggles adapting in the moment
I love how ChrisT has got a notebook where he writes his thoughtful answers. Man I feel so respected by him.
Only the best for the best audience man

Ofc that’s a huge factor, I guess it depends if your family supports your dreams at the end of the day
