These turned out really good. I watched this video a couple of times to get the idea down. The awesome thing about the technique you use (that I proudly stole) is that because you cover the shape up with foil and then with spackling, it doesn't have to be just the paper packaging inserts. I've been saving all of my scraps, including packaging and expanded polystyrene, and making terrain out of it. So for anyone reading this, save your scraps! Use this video's technique and recycle them instead of them going to a landfill.
Very cool. This turned out great. I think the versatility of this is probably one of the things I like the most because depending on how you used to paint you can create that effect of elevation for a variety of biomes whether it's tundra or painter desert or jungle Cliff faces it's just really lends itself well to a variety of things. Also I really like the idea of being able to use that recycled cardboard to do other things I instantly thought of boulders and ridges made from cut up egg cartons which might be something that i throw together in the future to see what I can come up with. I'm wondering if thinner cardboard might benefit with a coat of paper mache mixture and allow it to harden, I love the colors The sheared Cliff face sayings the natural look that you gave everything. Also pardon the lack of punctuation and capitalization because I don't have my glasses on and I'm using speech to text. Lol

Really nice and effective craft. Do you have a tutorial for those pine trees?
Thanks! The trees are actually a Black Magic Craft video that I followed. ua-cam.com/video/os71nNG9CNY/v-deo.html
Looks like you beat me to this 😂 great job.
Thanks! I’d love to see what you can come up with.

Awesome Work my dude :)
Thanks!
When you say mod-podge and black paint base layer, are those mixed together? If so, what ratio did you use?
Yes, they are mixed together. It’s roughly 50/50, just enough to make the mod-podge black enough for a base coat.
Thanks!
sub'd.
