Makes sense John BonJovie would reimagine this relatively unknown Bowie gem: after all, he IS the inspiration for that throwaway line about lovers standing and kissing by the Great Wall of China. Turns out David & John were on the same trip to China together back in '79, and John tried to sneak off with his girlfriend for a quick little peck! Little did he know a young Bowie was watching closely, and the result was this song. Pity it's not more well-known- it's really nice!
