I am not gonna surrender in proposing this. I AM NOT GONNA SURRENDER, BE CLEAR! I A M N O T B A C K I N G O F F! (Day 114)
I think the reason Spookston gets bombed a lot is that he plays agressively so that he is in areas that planes usually look? Also he spots more targets than the usual player and fires more often, meaning there is a larger chance that planes see his muzzle flash
Well, there are 3 main factors that contributes to the chance of getting bombed #1-position: most CAS planes head for 2 areas when they are clueless where to go: first, the objectives (A, B, C) since finding enemies there is common and everyone is already concerned with their own fights and won't bother running away from the bomb, and clearing the objectives will give the team a chance to assert dominance or hold and fortify it's position. And second, the spawn where SPAAs are camping and where players respawn, attacking the spawn will not only repel the enemies and slow down their movement but also weaken the overrall enemy power by taking out SPAAs which are supposed to protect the enemy team from CAS #2-vengeance'N rage: when a specific player starts preforming "too well" they usually face the type of players who always take kills personally. naturally, they would spawn in a CAS plane, equip the heaviest bomb they can and rush to where they died looking for who killed them to revenge bomb him and wiping him out of existence, sometimes these players mistake an enemy for who they are looking for and bomb someone they had nothing to do with, it happened to everyone but we just never noticed #3-activity: sometimes. When CAS aircrafts are deciding where to go, their teammates ping a specific enemy either because they saw them but can't deal with them, or because they know that player is too good to be left alive roaming the map or because they just want them dead ASAP (indirect revenge-bombing) or the CAS players find targets on their own because the target was not so stealthy by using a heavy tank and engaging 3 tanks at once, this makes them a CAS magnet. -in case you didn't notice, spookston always fulfill at least 2 of the mentioned factors sometimes all of them, using maus, TOG 2 or the French big baguette and wrecking havoc in B (factor 1&3 and if they killed enough more than 2 players and stayed in the exact spot then also 2nd factor will be acquired) That's why spookston is the ultimate CAS pulling machine

i find it so annoying that the "early cold war/late WW2" US vechicles have no stabilizer. Its like if they had it for most of WW2 and then engineers decided "nope, fuck that, we do not need those, get rid of them" at the time where it actually would be really nice to have. And yes, i know that historically it was due to doctrine change and new gun desings but come ooon.
It’s also a different type of stabilizer before and after the no stabilizer era. Before is a 1 axis stabilizer, after is a full 2 axis stabilizer. The technology is very different
It's because Gajin couldn't be bothered to look through historical American documents to get the tanks right. When they do they get rid of the stabilizers because it would make them better than Russian tanks. Also Gajin really just hates American vehicles.
@@aiedenoldstien9751 No. Its because past m18 most of US tanks literally were not fitted with it till 1972 iteration of M60 They literally changed the doctrine and seen them not necessary so no, its not Gaijin fault.

5:20 Blame the transmission for that. Last gear (4) comes in super early (like 25 - 30 km/h) and destroys your momentum and you need a long time to catch some speed
ong i regretfully maxed out my crews driving skill to my demise most of the time they switch gears too early and kill a lot of the momentum or refuse to go down a gear when losing power until it struggles It's especially frustrating and noticeable when going up hill it often switches gear too early losing all momentum in that critical time struggling to climb, Also when steering at low speeds as it does some jerky movements sometimes leading to loss of power and even stopping when switching gears while turning i've got used to switching back and forth to manual transmission but sometimes that still leads to even more jerky movements on my end 😅
3:03 I feel the exact same. I can be on the outside of a map, minding my own business, not having hurt a soul... and suddenly i'm dead... Why? I literally haven't done anything yet...
Something you don't seem to think of : CAS players don't target a tank via their amount of kills or what player it is. They target a ground vehicle they know their bomb will kill. And an M41, is usually an easy bomb target.
3:06 Played a match yesterday, was relentlessly strafed and then died to a bomb three times in a row, usually barely left spawn. We won the match, but I only had one kill so clearly I wasn't the reason they were losing, for some reason they just really wanted me dead? I guess now I know what it feels like to be Spookston.

I love the fact at 8:58 you hear his smoke detector beeping right the perfect time with he destroyed the enemy tank
It's.. edited in because of that, it's a sound effect for the kill
“Uh, I think there’s a Jumbo over here.”
“No, that’s even worse.”
I love live in-game commentary 😂
Nice video as always!
Could you give the AEC Mk II some love...or a try?
It might have gremlin energy.
12:01 pov: you are getting rocks thrown at you until an explosive comes into the mix
i find it so annoying that the "early cold war/late WW2" US vechicles have no stabilizer.
Its because past m18 most of US tanks literally were not fitted with it till 1972 iteration of M60
They literally changed the doctrine and seen them not necessary so no, its not Gaijin fault.
@gronthgronth2628 So many documents talk about a good few of the tanks in the 6.7 7.0 area having stabilizers. Though Gajin will just say no. Not purely to the m60 though
@@aiedenoldstien9751 Thing is that the fact that something was tested on a machine does not mean it was ultimately fitted. M26 is an example. While it was tested in prototype the deemed it unnecessary due to the way it was supposed to engage.
I love how you can tell how long ago this was recorded because he's still getting resources for the Tokushu Heiki event.
I suggest the ikv 103.
That smoke alarm chirp sent me into fight or flight.
You should try the 88 Flak. You don't even need the stabilizers on that thing.
That LoneWolvs guy was something else
Day 39 of asking for the Type 74 G
14:15 there was an HEP shell tested for the 76mm T91/M32 called T170E3 in 1952, but it couldn't even spall 4" of armor so it wasn't considered viable.
You should play jagpanzer cuz its just too good for 4.3
It has good cannon and armor that cant be penned by most tanks in 4.3
0:52 the way he says "34" is oddly satisfying to me
Day 75 asking for the Breda 501
1:53 "Wait... THERE'S A THIRD ONE!" Perfectly describes how the Germans felt in WWII xD
8:56 smoke alarm battery chirp synched well with the shot
2:55 it's not always you, it's always us. you're not the only one who has that kind of luck
6:07 bro sitting in the middle of an interdimensional hurricane
8:57 you're actually evil, I thought my smokedetector needed a battery swap
2:06 -the US armed forces in 1969 (its last year of US service)
Sweden is bugged since it was released. Roads there are made out of mud when it comes to surface friction
the hold up part forcing a smile out of me is certainly pinnacle of my humour
3:20 the music and the hold up broke me 💀💀
5:20 Blame the transmission for that. Last gear (4) comes in super early (like 25 - 30 km/h) and destroys your momentum and you need a long time to catch some speed
ong i regretfully maxed out my crews driving skill to my demise most of the time they switch gears too early and kill a lot of the momentum or refuse to go down a gear when losing power until it struggles
It's especially frustrating and noticeable when going up hill it often switches gear too early losing all momentum in that critical time struggling to climb,
Also when steering at low speeds as it does some jerky movements sometimes leading to loss of power and even stopping when switching gears while turning
i've got used to switching back and forth to manual transmission but sometimes that still leads to even more jerky movements on my end 😅
"Gaijin I just played this map" My guy I had to fight American Desert SEVEN TIMES IN A ROW TODAY
5:20 I had that problem myself on Breslau, my Ratel wouldn't go past 20mph on smooth stone roads for some reason
Spookston biggest weakness is CAS plane
Spookston playing: sneaky and smart movements
Me: "LEEEEROOOOOYYYYYY!!!"
10:35 did he just pen t-34 driver hatch??? i can't even do that with British 17 pounder
2:51 everytime spookston gets cas'd its a cannon event i swear
3:03 I feel the exact same. I can be on the outside of a map, minding my own business, not having hurt a soul... and suddenly i'm dead... Why? I literally haven't done anything yet...
that cheeky Next Episode insert when you spotted the duster was an S tier edit
That Tony Hawk Pro Skater noise and text brought back so many memories
Jokes like 3:20 really give me back my joy. I thought I am the only one doing that joke.
"I'm not saying that Gaijin is stupid or dumb."
>Look at heli and drones
You don't have to, we already knew
Something you don't seem to think of : CAS players don't target a tank via their amount of kills or what player it is. They target a ground vehicle they know their bomb will kill. And an M41, is usually an easy bomb target.
Spookston is a true reflection of the war thunder player. Gets bombed, plays tanks, and gets bombed again. In unison now, we all say “F*ck cas.”
8:41 we all know they are but we are not saying it.
2:48 Opps sprayed him with the sad juice :(
I love how you always bring a few he shells but never use it on light armor targets
“Oh his ammo is down there”
*hits ammo, goes black, nothing happens*
Brit main experience from 1.0 to 6.3
You know what's fast and doesn't use solid shot? Taking a spin with the Jagdpanther
It’s always fun watching videos of you with the light tanks
12:10 That is the perfect summarization of what's wrong with CAS in this game
"Why is it always me?" Maybe they see a youber and think "yeeessss I kill now"
Spookston really embodies Both “raised by grandparents” and “raised by internet” to a T
3:20, Hold u[p, got me for sec lol
3:20 i hope he got free wifi everywhere he went 🙏
A part of me just wants to fly in this game but doesnt want to dog fight...and another part of me is so sick of getting bombed always
Man, that smoke alarm sound effect had me rewinding to make sure it I wasn’t mine 😂
I feel like calculating the damage done by AP rounds in WT is done through a dice roll like in DnD 😂
Its called the youtubers curse Spooktons. When you get fame/infamy people want your head. For the cloud/prestige. XD
11:00 God the nostalgia from that music.
never forget when spookston bought about a billion backups for the bulldog
this is one of the videos i have enjoyed the most from you,,, thank you!
Would be funny to run this at the same BR as the M41D to see if the lack of APFSDS/HEATFS actually hurts it enough to be a whole 3 BRs lower (Or should I say the M41D a whole 3 BRs higher)
