you can just add some fun stickers or washi tape to cover that little sliver of white and you won't notice it:)
I am the same way , I don’t like how I sign my name and tend to screw it up. I don’t bother to put my name on it anymore because of it
I love that you can embrace imperfection when adhering pages together. I have tried to get over my own perfectionist tendencies but haven’t been very successful. Honestly, my biggest pet peeve when it comes to HP is the back side of the dividers. It is the very rare HP that works for me 100%. IMO It defeats the purpose of a customizable disc system if you have to work so hard to combine parts of more than 1 together to achieve any cohesiveness. *If you’re reading this HP PLEASE make your dividers double sided and separate them from the monthly view. Like real dividers.
Thank you for showing this! I started a creative journal last year and love it. I have the self-care guided journal (and an old recovery guided journal) that I would love to combine with my creative journal this year. I ended up using my monthly in my creative journal for memories/stickers. I printed off a picture a day on sticker paper and then filled in blank spots with stickers. I only did it for a couple months but would love to do it in 2023.
I used a dashboard for journaling this year. I really liked it since I didn’t feel overwhelmed with writing too much. I used the top week at a glance for daily gratitude. The left side was for to do’s, favorite memory of the week, etc. It changed depending on what was going on that week or what I needed it to be.
I loved your junk journaling spread a bit ago. I am very excited of the talk of you making more. Some bullet Journal type spreads would be cool. Rylee can't remember her last name has a lot of different layout ideas on her channel.
I just don't put my name in. I know who owns it.
I like the idea of mixing up the journal pages. I am planning to use a dashboard for my journal in 2023. It’s new to me but will see how it goes. I’m going to use the Zae Wild planner and I love it! It’s soooo pretty.

Great set up video mirror yellow and as always. I was so looking forward to this and I'm glad you Uploaded it. I have been doing this for several years and I have found that if I go too far ahead in my spreads I get disappointed because my mood may have changed. May I suggest that for the month of February in your journaling happy planner you just decide week by week what layout you would like to use. Our styles are very similar and I think that you will find that very rewarding. Going week to week has also helped When I'm in a planner slump it has stimulated my creative juices. I wish you and your family every blessing and a smooth transition into the New Year.

This video is amazing! I set my planners up for next year last week and I have so many different layouts from over the years that I couldn’t really decide what to use for what. I’m so stoked to see how you set up your journal with all the fun different layouts! I am going to have to borrow your idea and I’m going to also just grab one layout per week because monthly feels like to much for me at the moment. I’m so excited and grateful that you shared this amazing idea and I can’t wait to embrace my messy creative side this year. Love this Mary Ellen. I'm switching between layouts too this year as I'm still unsure which layout suits me best. I only started using a HP horizontal set-up for the first time in 2023. I look forward to following your journey again this year. Happy New Year to you!
Oh wow luvin the idea of the different layouts for the month of January....like the idea of frankenplanning , however mot a fan when having to remove the parts & remember what goes where ....so maybe doing transformer ones this year with 2 or 3 in one using 6 months each then combining them the last six months...Again TFS.♥️
I can't wait to see how it's going to look like. I do journal on my happy planners, but not in this weekly format. I just put pages together and use them. It's more like a junkjournals using HP pages. #happyjunkjournals

How do you choose themes for the week or month?
Question: How do you save or keep the pages together for your planner if you take the disck off when you are done with it? My current plan is to remove all the disks from my old planners so I can save them better and use the old disks. I plan to use binder clips on the pages.
That’s a great question! That’s my biggest frustration - I truly have no space nor desire to save all of my previous planners, so this year I’m going to try to put more on the monthly views (Which I am willing to save lol).
In fact, that’s been my dilemma for the last four years I’ve been using happy planners. I love the idea of journaling and my classic, but the reality is that I’d like to just write things down on a mini because it’s easier to either carry with me and or walk away and save it since it takes up so much less space :)
I loved the variety you put into your journal! How do you learn to embrace your style and feel confident about it? Literally no one looks at my planners except me, yet I still feel some shame in using the whimsy designs. That is my brain trying to get me down, I know this. But I’m always in my mind thinking “I am 32 years old, things need to be plain and professional.”
Oh nooooo I am also 32, YOU use whatever you want if you like the whimsy design then you use that sucker... I like hello kitty, tye dye, nightmare before Christmas.... Ect ect so my desk/planner looks crazy kiddish sometimes.... Do what you like for YOU!

Does UnDu remove the sale tags and the stickiness from the covers of the Happy Planner?
I usually use Goo Gone for this. Take the covers off, spray some Goo Gone on a paper towel, and scrub the sticky spots until they're gone. Then I wipe the covers with a damp paper towel then a dry one.

33:52 now I need to go back and see the way you decorated the horizontal journal page, I must have missed it. I’ve been doing a horizontal journal for a few years, sometimes I have a hard time decorating since I need a lot of room to write what happened that day. Love everything you do ❤
