I have purchased these for 20+ years and love them. The new tech is easier than the old remotes. Kings are much more comfortable than the queens with dual chambers. I am a 45 and hubby is a 35. We can finally wake without pain in our arms from sleeping on our sides. I have bought three over the years. Kids stole one from me. Queen was too small and is in the guest room and I have the king. Not the tilting type, just the nice one with the phone app. Two years in and no problems.
This video was helpful thanks. I hated my bed. Bought it 4 years ago and never got comfortable. Last year or so it kept losing air. Try and google the steps you have to go through to fix this. And 25 year warranty? Yes I know, I should have read the details. It's prorated so after two years you have to pay a part of labor and parts. Screw that. I ordered a new regular mattress. .. trying to figure out how to use this cool adjustable base. But this purchase in general? One of my biggest mistakes / waste of money in life.
My local Sleep Number representative said that if the mattress totally disinflates, it can mess up the layers in the mattress. That's why they recommend that you fully inflate it to move it.
I think it was easy to take apart. I didnt need 2 ppl to disassemble the bed. I think u only need 2 ppl the move the base. I was so excited to get rid of that over priced and uncomfortable air mattress. I had it for about 4 yrs. My body ached so bad. But pain no more!!!
How did you get rid of it? We are having same issue. The Sleep Number bed has been painful from the beginning, and after multiple phone calls and 4 visits from technicians, it is still painful, but since all the trouble-shooting has taken us past the trial period, Sleep Number will not allow us to return it. Please advise how you were able to recover your loss if the company didn’t stand behind their product. Any help is appreciated.
@@michelef8886 unfortunately I wasn't able to recover my lose. I chopped it up to a lesson learned and had the mattress picked up by my local waste management company. I kept the frame because it is a riser and cost more than the mattress.
@@lbeck7691 thank you for replying. I am sorry you couldn’t recoup money but glad you were able to make peace with it, and I hope you found a good bed and no longer have pain.
@@lbeck7691 I just removed my mattress . . had hoped to keep the base. Looks like it is connected with bolts of some sort to the mattress cover. . cannot figure out how to remove. Did you have this issue? Cannot wait to get a regular bed again.
@@wernerdj1 they are just heavy duty magnets. They will pull about. I believe I looked up on UA-cam how to move my bed or I set their customer service and email and they will send you instructions. Then I placed cardboard to keep the magnets covered....paranoid I guess.
Very helpful video. Thanks!

Okay but what about the base? I feel like this video is incomplete.
Seems like you either love it or hate it, my wife hates so she moved and this bed is a lot roomier now…. Thanks Sleep Number.
Damn 😂

Same here. We just bought one and are returning it, unfortunately we have to wait until 30 days from delivery to send it back.
I am getting rid of mine after 5 years and was googling on how to box it up for disposal. Never ever Sleep Number again-bad purchase, indeed!
Sorry but I love my sleep number bed. Replaced chamber but other than that I love it.
Can I just take all the air out of the bed when I move homes? I have a flex fit base and a P5 mattress.
Yes. I did it without any problem. Just be careful with the pump.
Just want to slide bed over so new flooring can be installed, then slide back. Can I unplug bed then move bed and plug in again when done?
I'm confused. Do you need to inflate it to 100 to move it? I assumed it would have needed to be uninflated
It looked that way and I'm assuming it makes it less flexible..easier to handle

equality. damn right woman, you do the work and ill hold the box. lmao
And make me a sammich 😂
Is this the same process for the i8 model?
Yes
Why is the man doing literally nothing?
Equality
No
Do not waste your time with a Sleep Number bed. Simply and plain it sucks and the return process is highway robbery.
return policy is a joke sticking people with $2500 frames but the bed works for many people, including myself. sorry it didn't work for you.
Mmm o
