A massive dust storm wreaked havoc in Mumbai, followed by heavy rain, causing widespread destruction. Poles, scaffolding, and trees were uprooted across the city, with Ghatkopar bearing the brunt as a billboard collapsed onto a petrol pump, resulting in multiple casualties and injuries. The tragedy claimed 14 lives, with over 75 individuals injured, prompting the deployment of NDRF teams for rescue operations, which have successfully saved over 80 people thus far. Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde visited the site in Ghatkopar, while the BMC issued a notice to the agency responsible for the collapsed hoarding and announced the removal of three illegal hoardings nearby. A case has been filed against Bhavesh Bhide, the owner of the firm behind the hoarding, who is currently absconding, along with others, at Pantnagar police station. BJP has pointed fingers at Uddhav Thackeray, leader of UBT Sena, after a viral picture showed Bhavesh Bhide with him, stirring political controversy.

Why no FIR and action on authorities for negligence.
Authorities didn't realised they are just pretending so that there job remain safe.
😂😂😂 Oh the high cost of cheap shit!
chanda-thanda model here.
Why govt have to wait till something like this happen and then take action
Similar to bldgs checks and permissions with depth of foundation etc has to be checked and logged
Owner should be fully responsible and no tax money
Dissolve BMC
