    I think i would say an 8th point: anchor the vein !

      True, but how you anchor a vein will no affect the blood draw itself or the patient. I mention it at my other video on straight needle blood draw.

      @@PhlebotomySolutions : Sorry but if you don’t anchor the vein, you might mist the draw and then yes, it will have an effect on your patient !!

      @@juliedugre662 Sorry, but if you already don’t know to anchor the vein then you should not be a phlebotomist to begin with.
      Again, I talk about anchoring the vein in my other video I mentioned. I’m not listing everything but only the most important up front.
