- This is a tour of my cyclops in Subnautica. It is not just a cyclops base, or a mobile base, but a cyclops mobile base! This video will include some tips and tricks of base building in a cyclops, along with the upgrades and items that I use. I truly enjoy everything about this Subnautica game, and I hope that you can enjoy my Subnautica gameplay and my cyclops mobile base tour. I do believe it to be the best setup yet!

Its a really good Cyclops base! I subscribed!
So no one's gonna talk about how he just casually kills leviathans
I do too. Started subnautica 2 weeks ago
That’s crazy
yeah i was pretty suprised to lol
@@Lemontarts01 yo same
he just casually says “this is a picture of the sea dragon… I killed it” like brodie is a mad man out here killing things
This is for sure the best setup I have seen.
Thank you!
Dude the cyclops is an amazing vehicle. Definitely the best vehicle in the series.
I agree! I am so disappointed that it is not in Below Zero. It makes the sea truck seem like complete garbage.
this guy hunts and loves his family i can just tell
I Absolutely love to make a base that doesn't only be functional but decorative, i love the ideas of Cyclops base sooo much that i made 5 Cyclops base designs for myself. You did a great job on both interior and exterior design tbh, the kelp forest green color base was matching with some of the water areas around the map and the interior feels like it's where you live since you're born and make mess inside of and it's an extreme confidence. Oh, also i see that you're a skilled leviathan hunter too!
Thank you! I'd love to see a picture of how yours turns out.
Fun fact: Power Cell Chargers are effectively USELESS on a Cyclops. Never put them on your Cyclops to recharge them: they drain power from the loaded power cells, making a power transfer-er. It pains me to see how many people put power cell chargers in their Cyclops'. Don't do it, it doesn't work how you think it does.
Also, great Cyclops my guy.
I mean he did say that in the video though. He mentioned he doesn't really use it unless in a heat zone because the heat zone auto charges the cyclops batteries (as long as you have the thermal reactor module). It's also viable for charging a few spare batteries if you park the cyclops in a heat zone while you are away in the prawn suit or seamoth for those that don't want to build a base or are too far away from a base with chargers.
@@paulos9900 Exactly. They are charging more for other vehicles if needed in a pinch. Charged batteries area always good to have around.
This seems common sense. Rather build a base with thermal/biomatter device and smack that power cell charger inside it. I just finished building a mini boimatter/multifunctional room in the shrrom area, (love the look of the area.) Just cause i can. But damn its a mission getting out of that space.
@@project-steelyou can also do this with anything hot like a heat geyser or steam vent. That's what I did in dunes so can farm titanium, salt, and quartz while my battery was charging
@@Znatchinthat Good idea!
Not gonna lie that is the best cyclops base ive seen so far wow great job dude
Thank you very much. I really appreciate that!
Duude this guy nearly killed all of the Leviathans!
How do u kill the leviathan?

this has the vibe of those vans that ppl make into living spaces. ya know? the vans that looks like there about to take a child and keep him/her in the van
Hmmm...do you want to come for a ride? I have candy.
@@project-steel yes
wow, mine is pretty similar to this but wow, thats still incredible dude, best cyclops base I've ever seen, I disagree with a few things like the lack of vending machine and 2 of the upgrades, im more of a shield sonar kinda guy rather than decoy tube engine efficiency, but considering thats from 2 years ago thats incredible. (I also keep pictures of a few of my pet fish, I've got an ampeel)
Thanks, always nice to meet another cyclops enthusiast. I like the idea of a vending machine, I hadn't thought of that.
Dang this is a really good setup! Mine could use some work, I wonder if I should take mine down and copy this…
Suggestion. Use the propulsion cannon to launch floaters at your enemies. I once shot a bunch of them at a Leviathan and then finished it up with a crash fish. Sent him over the Aurora and into Oblivion.
Serious. Absolutely no idea where he went. He just vanished. Probably got sent into low a orbit. Lol
That is great! Someone else said something to me about shooting crash fish. How do you do that? You rasie them in a containment, then pick them up and drop them, and quickly use the propulsion cannon on them? Do they stay around you when you release them, or quickly leave? I am very interested.
bro really looked at the built in storage and went "nah"
Yep, not big enough.
If over preparing was made into a video:
The floater balls. If you throw down something then the floater balls attach to it and makes it drift. I accidently did this with some seeds a while ago
Very cool.
this is such a lovely home
Thank you very much!
people call him the levithan slayer
Should call his stasis field gun a "Bigger Stick" or "Hold my beer"
In order to power the batteries and power cells for the sub can you attach solar panels and have the sub float above surface to generate sunlight into energy or do you have to have a set base with a power charger in order to function the sub??
I don't think it will allow me to attach solar panels or anything to the outside of the sub. I have the thermal reactor upgrade, so when I have the sub in the lava zone it keeps my batteries fully charged even while using the battery and power cell chargers.
Amazing cyclops
Thank you!
4:25 this man is a doom slayer
Thank you!
I named my 3 Cyclops the HMS Ttanic, the HMS Britanic, and the HMS Olympic... then went Leviathan Spotting...
Probably not the best idea to name the craft that's responsible for your life after the Three Cursed Sisters respectively...
Uhhh, how do you replant marble melons? When I went to put a marble melons back in my plantar, I hit the button but nothing worked
You cut a marble melon and it will give you four seeds. Click on the planter and then just switch the seeds from your inventory to the planter. Almost all of the plants can be replanted after you cut them and make them seeds, even gel sacks.
@@project-steel Oh right, I forgot. That wasn’t actually the problem, sorry. Umm, how do I cut the marblemelons? When I try to cut them in the indoor growbed, I’m too high up and can’t reach them
@@sunstar8782 I have had that problem too. You really just have to keep moving around until you get in the right spot. If all else fails just start swinging the knife nonstop and moving in little circles around the melon, like a lunatic. Eventually you will hit the right spot and cut it.
Nice man... But now i feel challanged to kill lavadragon and ghost...
You should do it!
@@project-steel okay.... Suddenly lot of pressure. Okay, i will. Btw if ya wanna do smth cool you can trap reaper.
@@abronius3732 I am definitely going to try that!
@@project-steel NICE!
No bed. 0/10
Kidding.
I really like how you used decorative plants and small pots for foodstuffs. I usually just have one large growbed with food and an extra lantern tree in the cockpit. Definitely going to exclusively use the small pots from now on. And more pictures.
I do have a bed in there. It is cozy in the deep cold depths of the ocean.
bro talking about dry plants but never touches grass
your channel name is gamefrenzy and u play pubg, dont talk mate
This look great but what if it get destroyed then you have lost your home.
Thanks! I will never let it get destroyed. I just made a video on how to prevent it from getting destroyed.

I am very sure this guy will get out of his cyclops and go say hello to the leviathan. Some people actually run into house fires, for fun.
@@chrishellmax Haha, thanks! The leviathan is scarier than it actually is dangerous, in my opinion.
Tre bona submarŝip'!

what happens if the cyclopgs dies doe?
I will make certain that it does not sink.
i really love sitting in the cyclops feels cozy even outside of the game
I agree!
@@project-steel I agree too!
Yup!
And I love it when a reaper try to snuggle in to
I feel like this is a hol up moment we don’t get yet
You don't lose food or water while sitting?!?! That changes everything lol
I agree
It also prevents death if your out of food and water
@@140natsu what?!
The chair is the ultimate tool of survival
wait what thats insane lol
This is honestly impressive. You put a lot of work into making it a "Home" instead of just a "Base". Mine is absolutely a base. Everything has a function and I do what I can to optimize it. There is zero decoration.
I really like what you did with the lantern trees to illuminate the darker areas. I'll probably utilize that, as I prefer to keep the lights off whenever possible to make it easier on my eyes.
Same with me mine is a full base with a lil decoration but not enough to feel like “home” might start adding plants and paintings if I can
sure is the best cyclops setup, looks really cozy, great job
Thank you
"People say there are three of them but I can only find the one. And I've looked pretty hard"
Yeah dude the other two just escaped after hearing about you just casually destroying a ghost and a dragon. They imagined your balls being bigger than their heads and just noped out
Haha, thanks!
So i'm not at the stage where ive killed a leviathan yet, but i have scanned the sheet out of one (the one by the aurora ass end) and those ghost phantom thingys that teleport, cause you know. Reasons.
Floaters usually help me if my cyclops explodes I wanted to test to see if they would lift it up they can so if u need u can use them to save the cyclops from sinking to deep also GET UR SEAMOTH/PRAWN Suit out before the cyclops explodes u can get the supplies later I have seen so many peoples not grab the docked vehicle and can’t get it out u need to grab it if the cyclops is gonna explode
What's pretty annoying is that when the Cyclops explodes, if you are in a vehicle it forces you to get out to watch.
Just wanted to say thank you as I used this design, but changed some things. The design is really good and I love it! 😄
Thank you, I appreciate that!
@@project-steel yeah no problem 👍
I almost never used my cyclops, but I never could have imagined a base so well done!! I had a regular base, but my favorite part was an observatory where I put a desk, swivel chair, and vending machine in it. I also put the stuffed animal on the desk and the keep calm kitten. Rubble ( the stuffed animal ) was my psychiatrist, doctor, complaint department guy and tech support.
That sounds cool. I just recently bought the Keep Calm Kitty poster, in real life, off of etsy.com and hung it in my game room.
I cant believe you are still active on this video after three years
this really shows your passion and love for Brunhilda and the community
Thank you! I love this game! I played it so much that I have had to take a break from it, but I will be back on it soon.
Best ive seen so far. I feel like your ex military for some reason. the highly organized precise layout and green colour, great job!
Thank you!
This guy named his parents when he was born.
I’m a really big fan of this! You make the cyclops seem so homey and you had some great narration. Good job mate 👍
Thank you! I am planning on making some more videos but I have just been too busy at the moment. I will though.
I love the idea of having a set of lockers with all the materials you need for making a base. I will be implementing this in my cyclops next time I log into the game.
It saves all the trouble of grinding for materials later, when you are ready to build.
I wish I could just reset my memory and play this game all over again. I really wish that. Maybe 20 years later I will forget ? who knows.
I agree. Below Zero is just not the same for me.
holy cow, you killed all those scary monsters and taken pictures of them as trophies. 10/10
I had to take pictures, I was proud!
nice setup. Surprised you havent set the text color on each locker, it helps me so much
That’s a good idea. Thanks.
Note: If you want to use your cyclops as a mobile base , make sure you kill all the leviathans in the map(and never go to void).
That is very true about the void. I haven't had much trouble with the leviathans though. I just shoot a decoy and hit full speed to get away.
Really nice vid good done when copying the pic with the prawn
That a sub from me
Thank you!
I'm always scared to decorate and make all of this stuff with my cyclops because I imagine it one day being destroyed and losing everything.
So far as long as I have decoys on board, I have been able to shoot one or two and get out of the area in time to make repairs.
Save before, in the middle, and after an adventure.
@@BlackTemplar618 Absolutely good advice. I even do it for the Seamoth. I was out of it gathering a sample when a reaper showed up and destroyed it.
a great video and a great home
Thank you
Thank you so much for this! This is such a good setup! Only thing i would add is a vending machine. The idea to have whole bases contained in lockers is so cool!
Thank you! The vending machine is a good idea.
Would floaters help make your prawn lighter so you can get more height out of your jump jets?
might test that and edit this comment
That is something to test. Thank you.
@@project-steel so did it work?
I finally got around to testing that theory. The video should be up tonight!
@@project-steel Awesome!
A tip for killing leviathans: according to the lore, floaters can attach to some leviathans, and if you have enough, they can float the leviathans to the surface and suffocate it.
That sounds like something to try out.
@@project-steel I like where this is going 😉
"KEEP CALM" its just a reaper leviathan.
Subnautica has such a small map that i have never found usefull to use the cyclops, i just like to hook around with my prawn suit
6:30
I belive there is one near the primary containment facility and one circling around the lava castle.
On maps I found on Google there is supposed to be one se of the aurora but I never iveb went to that side of the aurora because of the reapers there.
I am happy that in my play through I haven't had to deal with one.
Is no one gonna talk about how he has a Markiplier figurine in his Cyclops Mobile base? Because I noticed a Markiplier figurine in his Cycolps Mobile base at 6 Minutes and 8 Seconds in the video.
I found in a wreck or it might have been in a lifepod. I can't remember.
@@project-steel The Unusual Doll, which is the Markiplier Figurine, is found in Lifepod 7, which is both a Lifepod and a wreck.
You need more coffee and plants. I dont carry any water or food except my plants in my docking bay and by coffee. You just 3 coffee machines and then you set they don't even use power. Also you should add plants on the docking bay for extra food
Thank you for the tips. I have never really messed with the coffee, just used it for decoration. I will try it now.
I personally enjoy the bolbo trees.
Wow your cyclops layout is almost EXACTLY the same as mine 😂
Great minds think alike!
This is cool but in my eyes it's not worth it at all. If it gets destroyed it will be 100x worse than normal💀😢 a tragedy at the least
It would be, but I make sure that it will not get destroyed.
There’s only 2 sea dragons, one outside the primary containment and one around the lava castle. I read that at one point there was a third one but the developers decided they were dangerous enough to cut one of them.
I put my fabricator in the cargo room on the bottom floor just because if I want to fabricate stuff it’s easier to have it where I keep all the items.
Great idea about the fabricator!
2:58 I, too, always made a moonpool locker, but I named it Hot Tub. It typically contained everything necessary to build a thermal recharging & vehicle upgrade station. Next to it was a locker dedicated to growing a round of crops like creepvine, blood kelp, deep mushroom, etc.
Great minds think alike.
Im big fan of Subnautica and i played it for 2 years. Your cyclops base doesn't have any mistakes.
Thank you! I appreciate that.
I do think you should’ve used normal lockers and not have covered up the space that comes with the cyclops
i love cozy things and this cyclops is my dream base :D, also nice work you haven't disapointed my ocd yet LOL
Since my first playthrough I didn’t build another base on my cyclops after all inside did disappeared. I would but so long I don’t know how I can prevent that this happening I really don’t trust me to build. I’m now in my 8 playthrough.
That sucks. I have never had anything disappear. You should try it again, but just start with a few small things and see if it works.
What, no vending machine?
You're like one of those guys who owns a Harley and hangs up photos of their Harley in the garage next to their Harley. I mean, what's the point.
I customized it, I'm proud of it, and it makes me happy to look at it.
Very nice! I just started playing this game within that last few weeks and for the life of me, I cannot find the coffee machine. Did they take it out of the game? I have watched several videos on their locations and they are nowhere to be found.
It is still in the game. Just keep looking, it will turn up.
I guarantee you that all your storage boxes full of supplies, all your emergency gear, all your emergency food and water and batteries:. You will never ever use them, lol.
I'm the same way, I fully stock up, and when I need something, I go outside and find it (it's not an emergency right, why deplete the supplies I spent so much time stocking?). And yet, each playthrough, I still do it, lol. I guess preparing and stocking up is half the fun. Also, I never knew you could stack multiple levels of storage, I had a single layer only (so much juicy storage packing fun I missed out on...). And also, your base looks super nice, I love the decorations you added.
Thank you! You are absolutely right about not using all of the storage. I do go out and get something, because it is never an emergency.
Being humble is a virtude, my man is killing leviathans like is a sardine and even took a pic.
Did he just kill a total of 6 leviathans
Thanks for the tips! You earn a sub!
Thank you!

My cyclops is called Yo. Like Yo im over here... Nice little touch when im scanning around for it in the deep areas.
Lol, that is funny. Good name.
I killed 2 reapers and 2 ghosts. My next target is the sea dragon. He annoying
_”…or they’re just in my way….”_
lol
“What would be the scientific purpose of killing it?”
“……revenge.”
I kill them for fun. lol
I also use my Cyclops as my main base, but i have one question about your whole base design.......where do you charge the batteries you use to charge the batteries?
If you have the thermal charger, then you can charge everythiing in the lava zone, above a volcano, or any other heat source.
Cool base! Quick question though, I’m assuming you’re playing on Xbox one and I’m just curious have you experienced any problems with the world not loading in? I really want to start playing subnautica again but I found it very difficult with this problem persisting. If you did experience this problem did you find out a way to minimize the problem? Or did you just ignore it?
Yes, it used to be really bad! A few times my seamoth got stuck in mountains because they apeared on top of me. I play on the PC, now, but I think that last time I played it on the Xbox, that problem was a lot better. When it was bad the only fix, I had unfortunately was to just drive slow.
Nice and all but if your ship explodes you lose everything. That's why I am a bit scared to fill out the ship with so much stuff.
I won't let it explode. I made a video on how I prevent that from happening. I have never had it explode. ua-cam.com/video/Gbnvlk6Dcw8/v-deo.html
Reminds me of my base but I use the base cyclops colors and have 3 full lockers of medkits cause why not
Medkits are always great, and too often I forget to stock up on them.
Maybe someday you will need it? Nods at self.
I wish instead of the keep calm it was the hang in there baby poster
Whatever leviathan destroys his cyclops is screwed
I won't let anything destroy it.
I also love making cyclops bases and damn i am still to scared to go to a reaper in survival while i have cheats on like damn those things are terrifying
They aren't that bad. I made a video on how to prevent them from sinking the cyclops.
i know but just hearing them in the distance and there probably being five of time still gives me the chills everytime i hear them
@@pikachus0358 Understandable, I got a bit freaked out yesterday. Driving my seamoth and the shadow of one went across my windshield!
Yeah those things can be full on terryfing sometimes for some reason
I wish you could keep the seamoth and the prawn suit in the cyclops
That would be nice!
You can actually build lockers in the despatch area. I have a couple for my extra tools and gear.
Good idea!
He block the lockers built into the cyclops, I personally leave enough room too click in-between.
I thought those built in lockers were so small, that I personally found them useless, but leaving enough space in between to use my lockers and the built ins, is a great idea.
Better install mod that will give Cyclops unlimited health because if there lockers go out.
Good idea, but I won't let my cyclops sink. I made a video on how to keep it from being sunk by reapers. You should check it out.
thanks for posting that, going to take some of your ideas to improve mine.
Awesome! I'd like to see what you come up with.
This is such a wonderful setup for a cyclops. It might sound a bit weird, but I have 2 or 3 cyclopses. I had too many materials lol.
I have at times had more than one also. I completely understand.
hello sir. I have put in 48 hours playing this game and my cyclops is nowhere near yours. I don't know. I google online to see the average playing time for this game and it was 54 hours. 54 hours?!? I barely could do anything with 54 hours. How many hours did you play to get to this point?
Hello! I have no idea how many hours I have played. I just absolutely love this game. It is one of the best that I’ve played in my life. I have beaten the game over a dozen times in both regular mode and hard-core mode, and I just never seem to get enough of it. I have been playing subnautica below zero lately but to me it just isn’t as good as the first one.
@@project-steel Thank you sir. I feel the same. I have only played 48 hours and I felt that I barely scratched the surface. I don't get how someone can play 54 hours to just beat the game. There are so many things to do or try and so many things and places to see.
Luckily you don't have the bug where if you get hit by anything with your cyclops, every wall locker just randomly pops out of your cyclops.

Tbh I’m at the point with this game I don’t even want to escape the planet I just wanna see how good it can get
You can build the escape rocket and have it ready and then just play around as much as you want before leaving.
This honestly looks great. I like how you set up your storage. I might redo mine so I can use that space you have as a bedroom for my bedroom instead of the random bed I slapped in the vehicle bay area. Well done.

Have i ever told you the definition of insanity?
Is Brunhilda still going strong? Have you finished the game?
Oh yes, I have beaten the game a dozen times and then about four or five times on hardcore. Unfortunately, when I switched from my xbox one to a xbox one series X, I lost my game with Brunhilda. I have never been able to get Subnautica to connect to the cloud, and I could not find the Subnautica save games in the Xbox one files. So I have started over and I am rebuilding Brunhilda. The funny thing is that I am using this video to remember exactly how I did it the first time. Although when I did it the first time the game was still in beta, and now I can't get some boxes and things to go where they were originally, so I may just have a new and improved Brunhilda, but she will never go away. I just posted a video this week showing how to keep your cyclops from getting destroyed.
The Markiplier on the bed really did it for me
You can put storage in the vehicle bay
How do I put pictures on the walls from my pda?
Take pictures by pushing F11, once you have placed a picture frame on your wall, then select it and upload one of the photos that you took.
