I'm a new fan/subscriber. And I wanted to say that I was a victim of my mom throwing away my childhood films like those you've found in this video. And I find it heart wrenching to know that there are SO many childhood moments and memories that would be hella helpful to my healing as a middle aged grown woman with extreme child abuse and trauma to have been able to view/watch/have the only memories of the childhood that I had stolen from me. To think my own mother whom was/is the abuser threw them away because it was mostly of the happiness of days with my father. Thank you for understanding and being empathetic to that type of trash/valuable you find.,❣️💯❤️

You could use the shower curtain to cover your car seats so when you put stuff in your car they don't get messy. You could use medical gloves that fit tighter, I don't like gloves either when I garden but they are good to wear especially with what you're looking through.
You really lucked out on the storage bins.
    Thanks for sharing.

Get you a paint extension rod, small paint roller hook, tape the 2 together. The extension you have with the suction cups will eventually fall apart. A grabber with heavy duty claws work better. I've been Diving for 8 months now. Love your videos, you have good charisma in front of the camera.

      Hi,
I have read that some people dumpster dive in Portadown and Coleraine, but I think they must be staff because where I live in Bangor,
you can’t get round the back of the stores because of all the security.
I was born in bred in Belfast, on what they called the borderland.
I had the Grosvenor road at one end and the Donegal Road at the other end and I lived on Roden Street that connected them both.
      It’s a small world lol

Esther Rodriguez you should walk up to one of the well known dumpsters in the future and just peek in there lol .. I’ve been doing it for over two years it is addicting . I do it for several reasons , the excitement, to keep things out of the land fields , plus it helps save money on items I can use that I find . The others items I find u can’t use I pass to family and friends or donate to shelters it thrift stores , it is upsetting to know you donate to thrift stores and they toss it in the dumpster m so many here do it that they band anyone going into their dumpsters , they just don’t want to get caught .. it’s sickening the nice things I’ve found over the years and the clothes I’ve brought home and washed and gave away . So so sad . But just to see the thrill we get in it you should try it once or twice lol I won’t lie the first time I did it I thought oh lord I am going to get busted ha I was scared . I’ve gotten stop by cops more then employees , which I found I would rather happen . The coos are always much nicer ,w I’ve been stop by cops 7 or 8 times just this year , mainly cause I do go at night and stores are closed I can’t blame them , I, always nice to them and they are to me once I tell them what I’m doing they ask a few questions and say be careful out and they leave . I’ve only had one tell me you can’t be doing this it’s private property, they can tell you that but I don’t argue because if I go back and get caught again I don’t want them mad at me lol mostly they are just trying to keep people out because so many make a mess , I am like she is , I always try to leave it cleaner then I found it . Even if I didn’t make the mess or if I do t feel like cleaning it I do it . , anyway have a great weekend , I was just seeing how you said you enjoyed it through watching , I do also but nothing like the thrill you get actually doing it lol 😊

I would love to look at all those old slides and film. Definitely go to the craft stores like Michaels for packing materials for what you sell...bubble wrap, Styrofoam etc. Others commented on taking a step stool. I use the one step things that fold flat with a handle, so convenient and don't take up any room in your car. Be safe! You're doing great.

Kelly, I am still watching your older videos. I think I have only one left. Way back in the late 50s 60s, we used to use a movie camera that used small reels. These would be transferred onto larger reels. We would watch them using a reel to reel projector. There is still a market for the reels both used and blank.

I love vintage photos and the nostalgic feel they have- especially since I was born in the 70's. If you go through the slides and photos and find cool ones and blow them up, print them out and you can sell them for good money! Even on tee shirts. Taking it a step further, I wonder if companies like Urban Outfitters, that sell prints, tees, and other items with vintage images on them- would they buy some of them from you to distribute. Technically if they were thrown away they are the property of whoever finds them. Just a thought. Love watching you! 🤗😘

Probably someone already told you but those are old 8mm or probably Super 8 movie reels. You need a special projector for them. That's how people watched videos before UA-cam! ;-) Last I saw, there was a niche market for old films like this. I haven't been in that world for years though.

You passed up the folding table and a lockable trunk. If you ever decide to do a flea market, those items come in handy. the trunk would sell fast and the table is portable and they are always good to arrange things off the ground ( boxes good to set on the ground). Also, just a suggestion, I know it seemed overwhelming, but the tub next to the area where the laptop was found, might have had the battery and cord you need. A strategy is to separate the parts but still throw out. I would have taken a breath and looked a bit more. But I don't dive, I'm too old but if I could, I would, you make it look like fun.

So because of that people are scared to give or donate. Even pet stores will rip open perfectly good dog/cat food and dump it all in the dumper instead of donating to animal shelters.

Those slides and reals are very cool when I grew up my neighbors took the reals of me as a kid and they also had tons of slides. I think they are collectible. And worth something. It’s sad the person most likely passed away. I think when my neighbors died they threw out all the old slides of us growing up. Wish I had gotten them. But their children just didn’t care about them. It’s sad I know but maybe someone got them and I’m blown up in a frame somewhere. They had great slides like of us at the fair grounds. It blows my mind how much things have changed in just 50 years. My son has 1 in his room and my husband has 1 in his office. Stay safe and always wear your gloves, use a step stool and a grabber... Good luck on your next dive... P.S. Watching you dive gets me excited!! Thanks for sharing..

It's good to see a young person with a kind and care heart for Mother Earth and her fellow man. Gloves are very good..lol!! I live in a small rural town pop. Less then 10,00 and unless I travel 45 to 50 miles to a college town of 50,000 population it's slim pickens ... But I still have occasional fun! The college town/apt complex dumpsters is a great avenue to dive that I just never thought of. Good luck dear girl 😘

The laptop probably works. Businessmen on location get new ones and toss the companies old one. Bring it to Best Buy and ask them to check it first if u should buy a power cord for it or not. Then buy the cord on eBay.

I have to use special eye drops and it makes your eyes more susceptible to bruising. I can always trace my blood shot eyes back to rubbing them too hard when itchy or feels like dirt in them. Probably not a serious issue, just keep an "eye" on it if happening too much.

Hey so I know this video is old and all but I am binge watching all of your videos so here are some tips for laptops:
*If you suspect there might be water inside put in it rice, don´t charge it up
*If you don´t think there is water damage then plug it and see if it charges, if it doesn´t:
    a) you can clean up the charging port with appropiate materials
    b) You can take the battery out so you can test if its what is malfuctioning
    c) If it charges up, but there is no home screen, unplug it, take the battery off and press the power button 30 seconds then plug it and try it againg
    d) Sometimes laptop don´t start because there is a lot of dust inside, so you can clean them up with appropiate material.Note if you decide to do this take a picture before so you can use as a reference to plug it back together. If you can find the model is best to guide yourself based on a youtube tutorial.

I love watching Steve Steph Resale Killers as well. They actually have two channels. Anyhow, thanks for taking me along with you on your dumper diving adventures. Much Love from the Navajo Nation... I love that you are able to find all these dumpster treasures ! The drug issues in our community are high so i would worry about getting jabbed by a used needle. A pair of leather gloves that are light to protect yourself should be a consideration. Love your happpy smiley face!
