Yes sir you should come fish Green Bay sometime for giant walleyes or smallies! Here in door county we have some of the best walleye fishing and one of the best smallie fishery’s in the world!!!

Man this was great!!! Devils lake is such a special place! I got my PB pike 44.5" there 2 years ago. It's like my second home!

How is Devil's Lake for open water fishing in the spring? Pre-covid I would go to Ontario each spring but I'm looking for a good alternate spot this year in case Covid makes it hard to get into Canada. Looking for relatively "easy" fishing. Thanks

fished devils lake this summer and couldn’t get on them, had about 12 walleye but none over 14 inches probably, then there was a youth tournament a couple days after and 3 guys had a bag of somewhere around 35 pounds

Hey Jay I would never guess that you would be fishing in North Dakota or even at my home town of Devils lake. I wish I didn’t live two hours away in Bismarck and had the opportunity to meet you. Maybe one day we could me and maybe fish together. Good luck and hope that you enjoy North Dakota

John what's up buddy, remember working together, short story, John went to milacs the same weekend as me and my buddy that following Monday at work I seen John and I said hey pretty tough bite on millacs, John says huh? What do you mean and he shows me tons of pictures of trophy fish he caught 🤣
The lakes I go to are filled with perch, borderline every drop is a perch. But walleye? Those fuckers are my nemesis. Can’t ever catch them.

Northern Ontario Had some amazing Perch fishing this past year id go as far as saying best in the country I’m talking giants off Lake Superior basically untouched an Un pressured , Top notch scenery as you are surrounded by the changing of the leaves something to see 👍 great video Jay what a treat to learn some cadence techniques from John a NWT champion 🎣🎣

When I was younger, my dad and I would go out every winter ice fishing. We would stay at Lakeview lodge. Sadly, the owners are retiring and have sold or are in the process of selling the lodge. They do live in a house right there though that I helped build. John and Maria are their names if you would get that way

one of the days you should head up to lake alice/irvine. its a very unique fishery that is connected to devils lake. Im a local fishing guide and its one of my favorite lakes to fish.
John has it right. Perch are the best. I love a good walleye fry, but perch are the absolute best! I love targeting those little gold nuggets. They’re so fun to catch and so wonderful to eat!

You should try stump lake one of my favorite lakes to fish around here in ND the fish can be really skiddish and hard to catch but they can also be fired up.

People have different kiriteria, if i risk getting anything exept some sort of char, trout or salmon i am not fishing that lake or river. But where i live in norway there is only char and trout in the lakes i fish so all good:)

That lake is amazing got my two biggest perch and a 3lb 13 ounce white bass from there
