Thanks Bob, ask a question and voila! The tubes look similar but larger than the flightsweep deck lid hubcap drain tube also from Quiery. My F was delivered to the dealer in Illinois on February 29, 1960. No tubes. Kevin
An excellent way to control the corrosion & moisture build-up in these trunks!!! Excellent video Bob... Maybe the build date does have something to do with whether or not these tubes were installed. Monday's & Fridays - no tubes... Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursday's - tubes & fittings were installed...
My L.A. built (Oct 1959) 1960 Saratoga has no tubes. My 60 DeSoto Canadian built had them. A friend's Jefferson plant (built July 1960) 1960 New Yorker - has none. He also has a Canadian built 1961 Saratoga - that does have them. Another friend of mine says he has never seen any US built 1961 Chryslers with the tubes.

My 300F built in May doesn't have them or the recesses. It was sold new at Roy Burnett Chrysler in Portland, Oregon.
