I'm a surgeon in a rural area in Flores, Indonesia.
My wife bought my first pair of Birkenstock 7 years ago. And my life never been the same since then. Cos now my feet felt comfortable while doing rounds in our hospital or visiting patients for hours.
And, oh, now I'm waiting for my London Suede, will arrive in 6-7 days or so.
I'm arriving at this age where I only care about comfort and nothing else.

I have been wearing Birkies for 40 years, summer and winter (with socks). I have new souls put on, and have special glue for the cork. I have them in many different styles and colours. My feet thank me.

Discovering this footwear is nothing short of a revelation. I simply love my crosstown Milano Birks. Super sturdy grip moulds to the arch in my foot and plenty of support. Couldn’t speak highly enough of this product ❤

@@dirkhilberath Schade, es gibt da ein paar schöne Stiefel die mich neben den Latschen auch noch interessiert hätten. Vielleicht ist es ja in naher Zukunft möglich auf Anfrage solche größen zu fertigen?! Der Bend Mid, Jackson und vor allem der Birmingham Lace interessieren mich sehr. Beim Jackson finde ich übrigens die Sohle etwas mickrig, also zu dünn, die sollte etwas kerniger sein. Übrigens bin ich mir sicher, dass diese extremen Übergrößen in Europa und den Staaten gut laufen würden, wie gesagt, vielleicht auf Anfrage.

Sadly after 50 years of purchasing Birkenstocks I am no more. The quality has diminished greatly. When I bought this to their attention they just ignored me. I bought the London for decades. Now the so-called leather upper has a top layer that separates after a couple of years. I take very good care of my shoes and was surprised at my disappointment.
